Ferdinand (voiced by WWE Superstar, John Cena!) lives a life of leisure on the family farm, but is disrupted when he is taken to a school to train bulls, where his kind and peaceful manner is unlike the other bulls. With the help of a neurotic goat named Lupe and a team of crazy hedgehogs, he gains the courage to remain true to himself, whilst working on a way to escape to bring his new friends back ONLY IN with him to the home he loves. This dude is a “calming” goat whose job is to calm aggressive bulls. Lupe is a frenzied, sometimes loud, and always – always – a bad singer! Her dream is to coach a fighting bull to greatness and to prove that there is more to her than meets the eye.

The movie’s main star is Ferdinand - a super-sized version of a regular bull who is viewed as a fierce beast by most. But this guy’s true nature is unlike his appearance. He likes the simple things in life – a light breeze, a nice flower, the cool shade of a cork tree. His compassion for others is considered a weakness, but in the end, it’s his strength.
These three are cunning, quick and stick together. Literally. Like Velcro. They are a nuisance to everyone at Case de Campeones and are considered thieves (which… they kind of are.) They find a friend in Ferdinand and agree to help him escape if they can go with him back home to the farm.
