Dam Levels Drop in the Free State Among others, we see that the vaal dam has declined to unprecedent low levels, that marks the lowest deop in many years.

The Vaal Dam fell from 39.6 to 38.8 in one week. The dam has hovered below the neutral 50% mark for a number of months now.. This previous year at this time, the vaal dam stood at 61.3%.

Caledon river has seen one of thehighest deckine in a week as they fell from 65.7% to a low of 41.3%.

The Numbers show a decline in most of our rivers in the Free State. This suggest that we will be heading to another end of the year drought that we can’t seem to prevent.
