Our ambition

To create an environment which supports and enables staff at North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust to become the most active workforce in the NHS.

Supporting the mental health of our workforce through provision of opportunities to carry out physical activity at work

Enable staff to quantify their physical activity and encourage healthy competition between staff groups, services and organisations.

Normalise walking 1:1s as a healthy way to keep in touch with colleagues and team members.

Our impact on patients, staff and the Trust

• Happier, healthier staff

• Staff want to keep working at the Trust which enables us to deliver ‘outstanding’ services

• Patients have better outcomes and recommend NTHFT as a place to go to for high quality care
