NSWWBA Social Media Acceptable Use Policy PRINCIPLE The regulation and control of all matters in connection to the social media management of NSWWBA Inc.’s Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, LinkedIn profiles and other social media as appropriate. 1. PHILOSOPHY The New South Wales Women’s Bowling Association (NSWWBA) believes social media provides an excellent opportunity for people to come together through an online community to share and illustrate content or to promote a shared interest in bowls in NSW. NSWWBA sees social media as an increasingly important channel of communication with members, customers and other communities with shared interests. NSWWBA welcomes all comments through our social media channels, including Facebook, and Twitter. You are welcome to express your views, comments, ideas, insight about NSWWBA At the same time, you should show courtesy and respect to others and must not use our social media channels to post derogatory comments, abuse others, expose others to offensive or inappropriate content, or for any illegal purpose. 2. USE OF SOCIAL MEDIA SITES When using our social media channels, please ensure that you: •

All Club, District and Regional administrators, Directors and State Committee members are to use the social media as a communication channel not to make official ruling on regulations, COP, Uniform, etc All NSWWBA Inc Stakeholders (Sponsors, Partners, etc) are to abide by the NSWWBA Inc policies on social media Protect your personal privacy and that of others by not including personal information about yourself or others in your posts to our social media channels (for example, email addresses, private addresses or phone numbers) Represent your own views and not impersonate or falsely represent any other person
