A very special thank you to Pat Boon for all the time spent visiting and Ministering to Peter and our families and for the extra special attention to the details of his funeral service. We know Peter would have loved every single moment of his farewell. Thank you to Mavis Pattinson and Jean Finlayson for the very personal flower arrangements, to Peter Martin for your singing at the service, Organists; Juliette Galloway and Corrine Ward and the serving of the afternoon tea by the Church Link group. A special thank you also to Selwyn Park School for the beautiful flowers sent and especially for the performance of the Kapa Haka Group at Peter’s funeral service. Peter always had a special place in his heart for the school and it was very comforting to have such overwhelming recognition of this. To Hart Funeral Services for your very professional and caring support and for the respect shown to our families. Thank you also to those who have visited, gave flowers, food, cards, love and support. Finally to the Kauri Coast Rest Home where Peter was cared for over his last 3 years – we are sincerely grateful for the treatment of him, the respect and the dignity afforded to him.
