Guidance Curriculum Topics
Elementary students participate in guidance lessons taught by the elementary counselor on a weekly basis. These lessons center around the following units: Forging Relationships: Sense of acceptance, respect, support and inclusion for self and others in the school environment. Emotional Regulation: Responsibility for self and actions, including effective coping skills. Friendship: Positive, respectful, and supportive relationships with students who are similar to and different from them.
