Two local music heroes are set to take the stage at the very first Kultura Festival, happening from Friday 20 to Friday 27 June at Curro Durbanville High School.
Their crowd-pleasing performances promise to electrify the stage and establish the festival as a calendar highlight.
Afrikaans rapper Early B presents a high-energy performance with DJ Justin Vega for a night of music, rhythm, and pure entertainment on Tuesday 24 June at 19:00.
Early B, born Earl Swartz, is known for his razor-sharp wit and relatable storytelling. He has a knack for blending humour, social commentary, and raw authenticity into his lyrics.
His music draws inspiration from his upbringing in the Eastern Cape and his beloved "Dal" (Bloemendal).

On Friday, 27 June at 18:30, the Battle of the Bands competition sets the stage for an unforgettable finale — rock legend Francois van Coke and his band will bring the first Kultura Festival to a powerful close.
The event will see the top three high school bands in the Western Cape battle it out live for a cash prize and the chance to perform at Die Boer Theatre.
Each band will bring its own sound and style, so expect anything from electric guitars to cellos, and everything in between.
Van Coke will not only serve as the competition's main judge but will then perform live with his full band after the school finalists light up the stage. .Tickets are available via Quicket.

‘Bluey’ is coming to town
Bluey, Bingo, Mum and Dad are coming to Cape Town this winter school holidays. For the first time ever, the hit theatre production Bluey’s Big Play makes its African debut at Artscape on Thursday 26 June, running until Sunday 6 July.
In this theatrical adaptation of the Bafta and Emmy-winning animated children’s television series, families can see Bluey, Bingo, Mum and Dad in their first ever theatre show, featuring brilliantly created puppets and sets, live actors and all-new music.
The play follows Bluey and her family through a full day from sunrise to bedtime. When Dad feels like a little bit of Sunday afternoon time out, Bluey and Bingo have other plans. Join them as they pull out all of the games and cleverness at their disposal to get Dad off that bean bag.
The audio track is prerecorded and features original voices from the TV sensation, including the instantly recognisable voices of Dave McCormack and Melanie Zanetti as Dad and Mum. The largerthan-life puppets are commanded by talented puppeteers, who bring Bluey, Bingo, Mum and Dad to life on stage.
The show has performed to a global audience including sell out seasons across Australia, USA and the UK.
