Terms & Conditions Making a booking Reservations must be confirmed to the Christmas coordinator in writing.

Provisional reservations can be held for 14 days, after which time they will be cancelled should no deposit have been paid Bookings will then be deemed confirmed upon receipt of a non-returnable deposit of £10 per person.

The remaining balance must be paid no later than 1 month prior to your event otherwise places will be offered for resale without refund or notice. Once final payment has been received then no refunds will be made.

Food & Drinks pre orders All party night bookings will require a food pre-order, including any special dietary requests no later than 1 month prior to the event.

Pre-orders must come in via the group organiser and not from individuals to minimise the margin for error.

We do provide an allergen list and will do our best to accommodate dietary requirements with advance notice. We cannot always provide exact specific alternatives to all menu items, but we will adapt dishes where we can, please ask any party members with dietary needs to contact us and we can advise them. Please note we cannot guarantee a 100% nut free environment.

Food will be served promptly at the time you have booked for. If your party is not all present we cannot guarantee the food will be held for missing members. You may face a wait while we serve other groups.

You are very welcome to pre-order wines or drinks – please ask us for an up to date wine list and place your order at the same time as your food pre-order.

General It is understood that the organizer will be responsible for their guests’ conduct during the event in full compliance with the hotel management and licensing laws.

The management does not accept responsibility for loss or damage to guests’ property.

We reserve the right to cancel an event due to lack of response/guest cancellation, up to 30 days prior to the event, and to offer the guests an alternative date or full refund.

Bar will be closed at midnight on each party night and event finish at 00.30am Non Novotel Food & Drink We do not permit customers to consume their own alcohol in any of our public rooms or grounds, unless it has been specifically agreed in advance If any Alcohol other than Alcohol purchased at Novotel is found within these areas we reserve the right to charge the main bill the following corkage charges : 1ltr/750mL bottle of spirit £75 each Bottles or cans of beer £5 each Bottles or boxes of wine £25 each Mini bottles of alcohol £3.50 each (50ml) As licensees we have a duty of care to provide alcohol to our guests that is under our control. We thank you for your understanding in this sometimes difficult matter.

Cancellation terms If a party night has to be cancelled in full more than 12 weeks prior to the event then only the deposits will be retained by the hotel.

Cancellations made less than 12 weeks before will incur a charge of the total booking value as follows: 10 – 12 weeks – 50% of the value will be payable Less than 10 weeks – 100% of the value will be payable All monies paid in advance will be strictly NON-REFUNDABLE and cannot be used to pay for any other goods or services.
