Eco Blend Max can liners were developed using a minimum of 30% third party certified, postconsumer recycled (PCR) resin. Heritage uses reclaimed plastic intended for the waste stream, reducing the use of virgin resin, to create a premium quality can liner.
BioTuf® Compostable Can Liners are ideal for food scraps, compostable products, and other organic materials These can liners are third-party certified compostable for industrial or municipal compost facilities. BioTuf Can Liners are a convenient way to transport all types of compostable materials.

PICK THE RIGHT CAN LINER FOR THE RIGHT APPLICATION
Choosing the right can liner for the receptacle can save you money and reduce plastic consumption. Identify the type and weight of the content, the transport conditions and size of the receptacle. Once that information is identified, the correct type and size of liner can be chosen.

Identifying Can Sizes
The Heritage Sizing Tape Measure is an excellent tool used to identify the gallon size of all cans in the industry.

Types of Can Liner Seals
TAPE MEASURE INSTRUCTIONS
◾ Starting at the beginning of the tape, wrap the tape measure around the top and just below the lip of the receptacle
◾ Extend the rest of the tape measure straight down the side of the receptacle
◾ The bottom of the receptacle will fall within markers on the tape measure that specify the size of the receptacle

◾ Eliminates gaps where leaks can occur

GUSSET SEAL
◾ Rarely used in the industry
◾ Flat-style bag design
◾ Both sides tucked in to form gussets
◾ Sealed through four layers of film (the middle of the bag has only two sealed layers)

◾ Sized in three dimensions, EX: 23.00 x 17.00 x 46.00
FLAT SEAL
◾ Two-dimensional bag (much like a pillow case)
◾ Strong, but has the potential to leak wet trash from the corners

Dual-dispensing Packaging
The Topside Dual-Dispensing Packaging is designed for end-user convenience. These cartons were developed in response to customer needs. Now cartons may be stacked to save space while still dispensing liners with greater ease.
Case Labeling with NIST Standards
All cases are clearly labeled to meet NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) standards: Code, Size, Gauge, Color, Capacity, Case Pack, Performance Specs, Case Weight, and Bar Code.
Listed terms such as “Equivalent To”, “EQ” and “Nominal” are not accepted as a product specification.
Gauge Recommendations
Film thickness is not the only standard for judging bag strength. Advanced polymer blend formulations and unique additives have allowed Heritage Bag to produce thinner, lighter trash bags that are stronger than thicker bags made from inferior polymer blends. Below are basic gauge recommendations for Heritage bags.
