I’ve been painting Light reflexing from Swarovski Stones The inspiration to paint this Swarovski Stones painting came from Berlin where I was taking a picture that showed all the colorful reflection of the Swarovski stones that were hanging up from the roof of absolutely fabulous restaurant under the Berlin TV-tower. Also in my earlier paintings the role of light was important but just in smaller details. Light has been inspiring me more and more. By painting light I am trying to have more light around everyones life that light is for me as well. And by painting these Swarovsky Stones I paint also luxory and wealth - maybe also happiness.

Maaria Märkälä lives in Espoo, Finland. She is at the moment known both painter and the chair of Pain-ters union. Eu tenho vindo a pintar a luz que as pedras Swarovski refletem. A inspiração para pintar este quadro “Pedras Swarovski “ veio de Berlim, onde eu tirei uma fotografia que mostrava toda a reflexão do colorido das pedras Swarovski que estavam pendurados a partir do telhado de um restaurante absolutamente fabuloso sob a Berlim TV-tower. Também nas minhas primeiras pinturas, o papel da luz era importante, mas apenas em detalhes menores. A luz tem-me vindo a inspirar mais e mais. Ao pintar a luz eu estou tentando trazer mais luz em torno da vida de cada um e também luz para mim. E por pintar estas pedras Swarovski eu pinto o luxo e a riqueza, talvez também a felicidade. Maaria Märkälä vive em Espoo, na Finlândia. Ela é, no momento, uma pintora conhecida e também presidente do sindicato dos Pintores.
