ADVANCING THE MISSION

We are grateful for your assistance in improving the daily lives of the Sisters. You gave us more accessibility for us while we age, supported our Celebration of Spirit, and purchased gifts for us through our Wish List while contributing to us financially.

ACCESSIBILITY We were able to purchase a 2014 Toyota Sienna wheelchair van with the funds from “Raise the Paddle” at the Celebration of Spirit. This is perfect for transporting multiple Sisters to appointments. The choir loft now has new seating and a large TV to have Zoom gatherings.

GIVING DAYS Do Good

Week from SHARE Omaha, Joy of Giving Day from the Omaha Archdiocese, and Giving Tuesday are occasions when people are encouraged to give to their favorite nonprofits. We were grateful to raise $14,000 for the Sisters and received more than 150 items from our Amazon Wish List!

Celebration Of Spirit

We hosted our annual event in person for the first time since 2019. We enjoyed dinner at Happy Hollow Club and auctioned 126 items, raising $184,000 in total from the event. We thank our generous sponsors and donors for the success of this event.

2020-2021 FINANCIALS

We were blessed to reach $1.9 million in revenue between July 1, 2021 and June 20, 2022.

The revenue comes from a variety of sources, such as salaries from our employed Sisters and Social Security and retirement benefits of those that have retired, along with donations and charitable contributions from individuals.

Giving from donors remains strong. Legacy gifts have also been impactful. One legacy gift we received this past year was designated to provide scholarships to local grade schools and high schools and working mothers seeking college degees as educating others has always been a priority for us.

Medical and living expenses consistently continue to be our largest expenses for the past few years. As anticipated, salaries continue to decrease and medical and living expenses continue to increase as the Sisters age.
