This past month, we partnered with the youth at the Bernal E. Smith Sr. Boys & Girls Club for some music-making fueled by passion and teamwork—and the result? An anthem that’s bold, proud, and undeniably the BES(T). From day one, the goal was clear: create a song that would not only represent the club, but celebrate its unique spirit, energy, and community. They didn’t just want a theme song—they wanted to make a statement.Andso,“WetheBES(T)”wasborn.Anodtotheclub’snameand a claim to being the best BGC in the city—a title they wear with pride. HONORING HERITAGE THROUGH MUSIC: N4N (MEMPHIS) CELEBRATES HISPANIC VOICES DURING NATIONAL HISPANIC HERITAGE MONTH
At Notes for Notes, we believe music is more than just sound—it's a powerful expression of identity, culture, and heritage. This National Hispanic Heritage Month, we're proud to celebrate the richness of this culture by highlighting the voices of our own talented youth, David and Tanis, two talented artists from our N4N family whose roots and rhythms are deeply inspired by their heritage. Through these songs, David and Tanis aren’t just making music—they're telling stories, preserving heritage, and representing a new generation of Hispanic artists who are proud of where they come from and where they’re going. N4N is honored to provide the space, tools, and mentorship for young creators to explore their identities and share their voices with the world. This Hispanic HeritageMonth, weinviteyoutolisten, celebrate, andsupport.
