Season Summary
Most of the youth throughout december would come and go, but that didn’t stop them from making some bangersbeforethenewyear.
Jadiahhasworkedveryhardtohonehiswritingskills, and by combining that dedication with the Christmas season, we were able to write many songs that reflectedthevibeoftheholiday.

London (pictured above) dancing to his new song “Find You” out on soundcloud. Also in the room are Niveah and Sahvanna who constantly ask London to play his song again for them. A ton of the youth at Franklin loves this particular song, so we are attemptingtoputonaperformanceattheclub.
Connecting with parents Nitty Gritty Sing-a-longs
Kaden loves to record and constantly asks to come in the studio. While he is a part of the younger group at Franklin, he has a solidunderstandingofthebasicsofmaking a song. His dad joined us for the above session where we are working on his Spongebobrecord.
While we spend a lot of time playing/teaching/recording music, many of the nuances that are in songwriting get lost. That is why I’ve taken the initiative to teach song arrangement, making sure the youth’s songs make sense in terms of the overallstory.
Jade is seen above practicing one of her favorite songs “Red”. The song is very complicatedvocallybutbypracticingagainand againshecannowsingthewholesongfromthe startwithnolyrics.I’vebegantodosing-a-long sessions with the younger groups to encourage focusedpractice.
