CHECK OUR PLAYLIST!

UNIQUE YOUTH

Say hello to Wyatt — a talented homeschool artist who’s recently joined the N4N community and has been making waves in the studio! A promising we’ve been diving into some gritty grunge-inspired sounds and revisiting a few of Wyatt’s earlier tracks with plans to polish and produce them into something special. With his drive and unique voice, we’re excited to see where his musical journey takes him — and proud to be part of it from the start. Stay tuned, the best is yet to come!

PRESSING PLAY ON THE “NEW” SCHOOL YEAR School’s back in session— and so is the music-making! To launch the new year, we turned the BGC gym into a pop-up music studio where youth were able to hop on the mic, show off their piano skills, and make beats while they made new friends. It was all about fresh starts, fun sounds, and good vibes leading into an epic year of music-making ahead! You can find everything N4N (Memphis) HERE—latest music releases, monthly newsletters, contact info for our Memphis producer, ways to stay connected, and more. Hit the link, hear what’s new, and stay locked in as we go about the new school year!

MIC CHECK, SCHOOL’S IN: N4N HITS THE TAILGATE PARTY

What better way to kick off the school year than with music, sunshine, and a little beat-making in the parking lot? Notes for Notes pulled up to the Back-to-School Tailgate at NFusion DeSoto with an interactive music station where kids and families got to create their own beats, explore music production, and learn about what we do in the studio. From programming drums to experimenting with sounds, the beat station kept the people actively engaged and the creativity was flowing non-stop. It was more than just fun — it was about connecting with youth, sparking curiosity, and showing families how music can be a powerful tool for growth, confidence, and community. Big thanks to NFusion for having us, and to every young person who stopped by to make some noise with us. We’re just getting started — here’s to a year of music, momentum, and meaningful moments!

We took the studio on the road — and the vibes followed! Notes for Notes recently popped up at Bernal E. Smith Sr. Boys & Girls Club site with our Mobile Studio, bringing the full music-making experience directly to the kids. From laying down drum loops to freestyling on the mic, youth had the chance to explore beat-making and express themselves in a hands-on, exciting way. Big shoutout to the BGC staff and all the youth who showed up ready to learn, listen, and create. We’re always excited to bring the music to the people — wherever they are.

SPOTLIGHT SESSIONS CONTINUE TO MAKE AN IMPACT

From shy hums to bold mic drops, Music Discovery & Spotlight Sessions have become a core part of our monthly programming — and we’re here for every moment. These ongoing programs are designed to do more than just pass the aux — they build confidence, spark curiosity, and help youth discover new sounds, genres, and sides of themselves through music. Whether it’s guided listening, jamming in a ROCKBAND battle, or trying a new instrument for the first time, there’s always a way to join in and express yourself. No pressure, just pure creative energy. Every month, we see young artists go from hesitant to hyped — and those little moments often lead to big leaps: writing their first song, jumping in the studio, etc.
