Nativity! The Musical By Theatre Group CTC

(Christchurch Theatre Club)

“Nativity the film is a heartwarming and completely joyful family favourite. The musical, complete with a ‘classroom full’ of local children is to hit the Loughborough Town Hall stage in January courtesy of CTC.

It's all about a teacher, Mr Maddens, who is so stressed about organising a Nativity play and outperforming an old rival, that he tells a huge white lie that a Hollywood Studio, headed by his ex girlfriend, is coming to see his Nativity Play in Coventry! The cast, including of course, Mr Poppy, produce some genuine moments of outrageous comedy gold.

CTC’s children, aged between 8 and 12 have been selected from the local theatre school ‘Brightlights’. The show runs for one week from Tuesday 24th January to Saturday 28th. Those wishing to purchase Saturday matinee tickets, sorry, the performance has already sold out. Tickets are still currently available for evening performances and a start time of 7.00pm make it a ‘family friendly’ outing.”

Christmas presents sorted!

Full details are on Loughborough Town Hall’s website. Tel 01509 231914 www.loughboroughtownhall.co.uk/events/2023/01/24/nativity_the_musical

Mistletoe

Mistletoe is a popular decoration at Christmas time and kissing under the mistletoe has been a Christmas tradition for hundreds of years. Our part of the world was a hot spot for mistletoe. It’s found throughout Loughborough, predominately in the north of the town, and we have it growing in several locations in Hathern. It’s sparse in the Midlands and quite why we have so much of it here isn’t clear. It may be a relic of orchards in the Thorpe Acre area. Mistletoe is a hemiparasite –extracting water and nutrients from its host, and it’s dioecious – that means that there are separate male and female plants, though you can get both male and female plants on the same tree. So, if you only have a male plant you will never get berries!

There has been no accurate recording of the mistletoe in Loughborough and Hathern, so over the last 12 months, Hathern Wildlife Group has been recording plants for Naturespot – the Leicestershire and Rutland wildlife recording platform. It’s not straight forward. The best time to see the plants is when the trees have shed their leaves, but that’s

the worst time to identify what the host tree is. So, we accurately recorded locations last winter, and followed that up by revisiting trees in the summer where we weren’t sure of the host species. Over 100 mistletoe laden trees were recorded of 14 species, one record was on a cherry tree which is rare. However, we know there must be more in private gardens. Preliminary findings indicate that there are many more male plants than female, and while most trees seem to tolerate mistletoe, rowan seems to be the worst affected.

We’re now approaching another round of winter recording and are keen this year to accurately record Hathern’s mistletoe. Some locations are known, but we believe there are more –particularly in the Narrow Lane/ Dovecote Street area. Also, we’d like records from Shepshed, private gardens in Loughborough and from elsewhere in north Leicestershire.

If you have mistletoe in your garden, or one you know of, could you let us know please? Information we need is location, number of plants, host tree and whether the plant produces berries. Please contact Dave Neville at daveneville1947@gmail. com or 07518034493.

Protecting Your Family Inheritance

Our frontline staff follow Government guidelines for visiting you in your home and they are fully vaccinated. LevLaw Ltd remains here for you.

Most people hope that their estate will pass on to their children and grandchildren eventually.

But this will not happen for many, unless careful arrangements have been made to protect their assets from being taken towards the end of their life to pay for care home fees. The solution to help protect your estate is a Will incorporating a Property Protection Trust (PPT).

A testamentary PPT can only be executed whilst both partners remain alive. Upon death of the first partner, their Will specifies that their share of the property is placed into trust and names the ultimate beneficiary of this share, normally the children and grandchildren of the deceased. The surviving partner, under the terms of the trust, has the unequivocal right to remain living in the property for the rest of their life. On the death of the second partner the Trust comes to an end and the property passes to the beneficiaries.

As the surviving partner does not own the deceased’s share of the property it is fully protected for the beneficiaries, so if the surviving partner requires care, or even remarries, this share of the children’s inheritance is protected. This last point can be particular interest to couples who have come together and have children with different partners.

A PPT can help each person in a relationship ensuring that their children inherit their share of the property, while giving their surviving partner the ability to live in the property for the rest of their life. If the surviving partner wants to move to another property, they can still sell the property and the proceeds to be used to purchase a new property, the terms of the Trust remain over the new property.

Serenade Raise £4,650 For Charity!

Serenade, the muchlovedShepshedWomen's Community Choir, have been able to make a donation of an amazing £4,650 to BeatTN following their hugely successful concert in October and other fund-raising efforts over the past few years.

Keleigh Atkin presented the cheque to Carol Weller at the groups recent AGM.

Carol was overwhelmed at the amount received as a family member suffers withTrigeminal Neuralgia.

The charity BeatTN is a UK registered charity, which was started in order to raise funds to support research into finding a cure for Trigeminal Neuralgia. The trigeminal nervescontrol all facial

and oral sensitivity and muscle/ tissue interaction. For suffers of Trigeminal Neuralgia, things that we take for granted like eating, talking, even a light breeze can cause lightning bolts of debilitating pain. More information can be found online, at www.beattn.org

If you enjoy singing and fancy being part of Serenade, and want to support your local community, you would be most welcome to give it a go.They start rehearsals again on 7thNovemberfrom 7.30pm – 9.00pm, and meet weekly at Christchurch Methodist Church, Shepshed. You will be sure of a very warm welcome.

Als Electronic Shepshed Experience

As this is the last podcast post in ‘Your Local’ for this year I mark by it thanking everyone who have supported my project at getting information into the pubic domain via Facebook. The podcast has a long way to go and by no means has it achieved all that it can. I have some new features to put out there and I do hope they will be received well. I try to reflect life as we live it with features on Cancer and Dementia covered over the past two and a bit years. I intend to cover other issues that trouble our daily lives and I thank all those who have trusted me with the content they have shared with me. Before writing anything when you put it out in the public domain the truth has to be squirrelled out, rumour and half truths do no one any good least of all the person writing it down.

This year saw me use the out n about Shepshed on video and that will carry on with the jitty walks and other interesting facts attached to Shepshed.

The Pancreatic Cancer walks have just been completed and I enjoyed the involvement immensely. This type of cancer needs much funding to diagnose an early response, at present it takes hold and then can be hard to stop in the early stages. Families have been devastated and the feeling of helplessness with sometimes no way to cope. So the walks everyone did last month will go to some way of making a difference.

As you read this missive the festival of Christmas will be soon upon us and a very different time for some. As we all will have to come to grips with rising prices in all that we do, we as a community will have to look out for the vulnerable and the lonely. I will try and keep you all informed through the podcast throughout the coming winter months. You know your own streets and roads just keep a lookout for your neighbours who maybe in need of just a chat and a cuppa.

I’m closing down the missive for a month, but will be back in February’s 2023 edition. Have a wonderful break and enjoy your loved ones. Al.

As another year comes to a close, this December and in the run up to Christmas, I have been thinking about independent retailers and the part that they play in our high street and community. It is great to see that many small businesses have bounced back from the pandemic and I am glad to see high streets open again this Christmas, and personally, I believe that the local businesses and shops in Shepshed are the lifeblood of the town and local shopping is so important to maintaining that. It is a pleasure to walk through the high street in Shepshed, and that is something which I am sure many of you did on the 3rd of December, for our Small Business Saturday Event.

Small Business Saturday is an annual event where I team up with independent retailers throughout Shepshed to promote their fantastic businesses. On the day, local businesses can offer discounts, offers or vouchers to encourage more people to visit shops and businesses in the town. This is in the hope that you may discover a business that you have not encountered before, or you will see what other things are sold in a shop that you hadn’t noticed before.

This year, I was delighted to work with many small businesses offering discounts in their shops to residents. I would also like to thank Vista Charity shop who's Chera Voce - Shepshed Community Choir offered to sing carols outside their shop front as well as running a tombola to raise funds for their excellent cause.

I hope that people in Shepshed enjoyed the event and perhaps visited a business that they hadn’t previously. However, I really believe in the importance of shopping local where you can. During difficult times, local businesses are often hit hard, so I would urge residents to consider shopping locally all year round so that we can protect our High Street for the future.

I really enjoy seeing local businesses prosper in my constituency which is why I try to visit as many local businesses as I can, which I document on my Social Media, which also has showcased the excellent businesses involved in Small Business Saturday.

As ever, if I can be of any assistance, please do get in touch. Finally, I would like to take the opportunity to wish you all a very Merry Christmas, and a Happy and Prosperous New Year.

Rent A Allotment

Shepshed History Society

Article by Marjorie Schulz

On Tuesday the 8th of November Shepshed History Society enjoyed an excellent talk given by the ever popular Julie Kinnear on the fascinating life led by Edith Piaff, the late but very famous French singer who came to notoriety in the 1940's until the 1960's. Born in extreme poverty, her mother having disowned her, she was bottle fed milk and wine from day one, then when aged four she had to be treated for alcoholism and was taken into care which turned out to be a brothel.

Wine apparently was to dominate her life as she clawed her way to fame and fortune as time went on. Very small in stature 4ft 10" tall and with no redeeming features at all except for a feisty temperament and determination not to let anyone get the better of her, her beautiful singing voice conquered the music hall world and she was adored by millions.

When her talent for singing had become obvious,- (she used to sing on street corners), her manager at the time chose to change her name from Gassion to Piaff which is French for Little Sparrow.

And so as her fame grew so to did her exploits with the opposite sex who seem to worship her regardless of her insatiable appetite for wine and sex with anyone that took her fancy, her adventures bordering on the disbelief at times. It was in 1962 at the age of 47 when her addiction to alcohol finally saw her demise and she died of liver and kidney failure. She was of course very famous for the popular song - Non Regret.

The December meeting will be given by Jo Golby, and it will also be the Christmas social evening with a free buffet and mulled wine.

Central Meditation Group

Meditation is an excellent way to deepen relaxation, reduce stress and develop personal insight; it can profoundly benefit most people. Central Meditation Group is a friendly group organised by Chris North, a vastly experienced independent meditation teacher.

We have weekly evening meetings at a public venue in Shepshed, at minimal cost. Nothing weird is involved: there is no chanting, we sit on normal chairs, and no particular religious or philosophical beliefs are necessary.

If you are interested and would like to find out more, phone Chris on 01509 506585.

Prestigious Award For Shepshed Charity

The Steps Centre in Shepshed was excited and delighted to welcome a very special visitor recently.

The Deputy Lord-Lieutenant of Leicestershire, Mr David Knowles, visited the centre to present the charity with the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Community and Business Award.

This prestigious award is one of only 70 that was presented to organisations across the county and the city.

Steps was presented with the award in recognition of the exceptional dedication and service to the children and families who attend the centre.

The charity has been providing a free service for children who have movement-limiting conditions such as cerebral palsy and Downs syndrome, for almost 30 years.

During this time, the Steps team has provided a life-enhancing programme using the principles of a unique system called Conductive Education, to ensure that the children in their care have access to more purposeful and independent lives.

The manager at Steps, Natalie Roberts, said, “We are so thrilled to receive this award as it acknowledges the exceptional accomplishments and dedication to duty that is the hallmark of our organisation.

The fact that the award is in recognition and in memory of our late Queen’s 70 years’ reign makes this even more special to us. On behalf of the children, families, staff and trustees, I should like to thank all of those involved in the selection process and the Deputy Lord Lieutenant, David Knowles, for taking the time to visit us and to present the award.”

Mr. Knowles said that he felt it was a privilege to meet the Steps team and to chat with the children and that it was a special a joy to present this unique award, adding that he hoped it would encourage the charity for the next 30 years!

Patron of the charity, Rosemary Conley, said, “We are honoured and delighted to have been chosen to receive this award that acknowledges the time, specialist skills and dedication that the Steps team provides to families and children who have faced the darkest of times. The unstinting support that is given not just to the children who attend Steps but also to their families, has helped everyone to move out of the darkness and into the bright sunshine.”

Keith Harris

Borough Councillor for Hathern

T: 01509 557701

E: cllr.keith.harris@charnwood.gov.uk

The HVA heroes triumphed again. The Fireworks was a spectacular success with over 5,000 visitors. The display was tremendous and had everybody spellbound. The village even supplied the music with Astrovan doing two sets in their latest bluegrass hillbilly incarnation. The bars, the soft drinks stall run by library volunteers and the food outlets were heaving. Because we now have more volunteers before, during and after the event, it took far less time and effort to set up and take down. Thank you to all who joined in to run it at the various stages. This year many people stayed a bit longer after the display to have another drink, listen to the music or just chill and so it was a lot easier to leave the car park. We should be eternally grateful to the organisers who devote so much time and effort to bring this about, especially when you consider that they don’t get to enjoy their own festival as they are constantly busy. The bar staff worked solid all evening.

The first slips will be in the ground in the Hathern Woodland by the time you read this with three dates in November. There will be a further date on December 4th with sessions 10-12 and 1-3. This may also be too late for that one too but if not, you can register your interest using the following linkwww.charnwood.gov.uk/pages/hatherncommunitywoodland

They are hoping to complete the planting by Xmas so the trees will thrive during the winter wet.

The council has set up a page of FAQs on this link - www.charnwood.gov.uk/ pages/hathern_community_woodland_frequently_asked_questions

The library has set up a seed swap on February 25th from 10 to 2. Phil Clark and I are on shift that day and are staying on to run the swap. You don’t have to bring anything. There may be a lot of some types of seeds. We will have spare envelopes but if you can bring some yourself to take what seeds you want, that would be helpful.

There was an incident of fly-tipping recently in the village. If you spot anything, please contact the council. The police do not have this in their remit. The council will clear it up and will investigate and prosecute if they have solid evidence of the identity of the culprit. A resident very diligently collected evidence of the latest incident. This is very useful to the investigators. Please submit any evidence you have but the council advises against rummaging around in the rubbish on safety grounds.

I have seen complaints about dog fouling in the Hathern Community page. This is a perennial issue in the parish council and one which the parish and borough councillors can do next to nothing about. We have to catch the culprits (we can’t say brown-handed by definition as they don’t touch it) in flagrante delicto and this can be problematic. Taking video or photos of the people who are antisocial enough to do this might lead to altercations. Getting a prosecution is fiendlishly difficult without solid evidence again. It seems to be something we will have to live with. This is a police matter but please don’t contact them just to complain that you have trodden in some brown stuff. They need evidence of the culprit. Please don’t take any risks.

I am on holiday at the moment and have only just heard of another case of violent assault in the Three Crowns. I hope that the lady is recovering and trust that the Loughborough man who has been arrested will be dealt with accordingly.

The Hathern Community page dealt with a case of a resident needing household items so quickly that by the time I came up with some donations, it had been covered. It is nice to know that the community had a generous whip round and helped someone in need. If anyone else is in need, Emma and I can make referrals to foodbanks.

Emma, Betty and I wish all residents a merry Xmas and a happy New Year.

Local area coordination can help you to learn about what is happening in your area and how we can support you and the local community.

“A model of support which focuses on identifying and supporting those who need help before they hit crisis and working towards building an inclusive supportive community around them.”

Your coordinator is here to help with how to make life better, through connecting people together and being part of the community as well as finding out about what is happening in your local area and getting the right help from services.

Local Area Coordination can also help with making positive action within your community through friendship, connections, and volunteering. Working alongside residents, local and countywide organisations, and services to promote opportunities for people who may be at risk (vulnerable) or trying to cope with daily life due to age, disability, or low-level mental health needs and those who are socially isolated.

I can provide shorter term support which may involve sign posting to local services or community groups, or longer-term support to help achieve goals and lead a happier life.

If you would like to have a further conversation about Local Area Coordination in Shepshed please contact Sarah Burton on 07526928524 or email sarah.burton@leics.gov.uk

Charnwood Local Plan

Charnwood have now received a response from the planning inspectors. This follows the latest hearing sessions in October, which considered how the Local Plan proposes to manage issues relating to Leicester’s unmet housing and employment need.

Charnwood are pleased to say the inspectors are supportive of the approach they propose to take and therefore the examination process can now continue.

It is anticipated that the next examination hearings will take place in the New Year. Dates and hearings will then be set by the inspectors.

Aldi supermarket

We keep being asked about the proposed site at the junction of Fairway Road South and Leicester Road. The state of the site is one; we are aware that the police and fire service are very concerned about the state of the building. The second is when are we going to get an ALDI. The planning application is yet to be determined and we will keep you all informed when a determination has been decided.

Jubilee Walk

It came as a complete surprise to us all to learn that the de Lisle estate had put part of Jubilee Walk up for sale. This is the lease that they had with Charnwood Borough Council.

We would like to say that both Charnwood and your Councillors are working to get Jubilee Walk as a permanent right of way, and registered as an Asset of Community Value, especially after Charnwood had just spent £70,000 on making the base fit for purpose.

Christine Radford as the county councillor is working with the Access and Development Officer (Rights of Way section) at county and local residents to get Jubilee Walk as a public right of way. The route needs to have evidence that

20 years unhindered use can be produced.

A range of support has been put in place nationally to help people, organisations and businesses. The Council has created a webpage to bring the information together. Visit www.charnwood.gov.uk/cca

Christine Radford County Councillor for Shepshed

T: 01509 502974 M: 07796 544817 E: christine_radford@hotmail.com

After our celebrations were somewhat curtailed in the past couple of years I would like to wish you all a merry Christmas and a happy new year.

Household Support Fund

I am receiving a number of requests to explain how this funding works. The £100 payment to pensioners was indeed for those in receipt of pension credit, the DWP provided County and Charnwood with a list of all eligible people.

There are many pensioners who are vulnerable or may be experiencing cost of living pressures who will not be on pension credit. With that in mind, county have changed the scheme and from October of this year there is no longer a ringed fenced scheme for pensioners on pension credit and instead county have extended the fund. County are looking into how they can better support people in receipt of Housing Benefit. DWP are going to provide county with data on this group of individuals shortly.

Residents in question could also be referred by Charnwood, local foodbank, local charities or Citizens Advice. It can support them with the cost of energy or food.

Or you can contact householdsupportfund@leics.gov. uk for further information.

Warm Spaces County has no plans to run any specific Warm Spaces/Banks. But it will continue to promote the current Round of the SHIRE Community Grants which has been revised to include Warm Spaces.

I understand that the Glenmore Centre, Passion and some church facilities are looking at housing Warm Spaces.

Sarah Burton, Local Area Coordinator can be contacted to give you information of times and places for when warm spaces are open, together with events that are taking place which you may wish to attend. Her contact details are sarah.burton@leics.gov.uk or 07526928524.

Inspired to Care Team – Great British Awards

The Inspired to Care project helps social care providers recruit committed frontline care

professionals by promoting the rewards of a career in care. The team achieves this through liaising with social care employers to provide tailored recruitment and retention resources.

The team were nominated for their Outstanding Contributions to Social Care, unfortunately they did not win, but to be nominated was a wonderful and well-deserved achievement. A great night was had by all who attended at the celebrations held in Nottingham.

Double win for Leicestershire County Council’s attraction

Bosworth Battlefield Heritage Centre and Country Park has been awarded the Best Told Story Accolade and Melton Carnegie Museum won the Hidden Gem Accolade. The historic sites were recognised for the awards following a Visitor Attraction Quality Scheme Assessment.

Shepshed Library

I visited the library during one of the 6 free programmes being held at the library for children from 7-12 which was a new programme which provided a down to earth and hands on experience into science, technology and engineering behind space. The programme was supported by the National Space Centre and those who attended were give a ticket for free admission to space centre on Sunday 13th November where they also received a certificate.

Younger Onset Dementia Event

An event which supported those diagnosed with dementia who are under the age of 65 was held at the King Power Stadium. Carers, family and friends of those who have been diagnosed with the condition were also warmly welcomed.

The Dementia Strategy states there are 13,372 people living with dementia across the region of Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland (LLR) of which 269 have been diagnosed with younger onset dementia.

Professionals who attended the event included Age UK Leicestershire and Rutland who provides a commissioned Dementia Support Service.

Newhurst Incinerator or Reclamation site. There are 3 vacancies for two members of the public to site on the liaison committee. If you

are interested please contact newhurstERFLLC@covanta.com.

Newcroft Primary Academy –Trueway Drive

I am writing to you regarding issues raised as a result of inconsiderate parking outside of the school and the subsequent dangers/safety concerns that brings to the community, especially the young children attending and leaving school.

Protests have been taking place outside of the school as some lazy/ inconsiderate parents/guardians are parking on ‘keep clear school zig-zags.

I understand that the police have been in attendance.

I have asked county to look at bringing the road closure scheme (school streets) which is being tried in other areas around county which will mean roads close to schools no cars for quite a length of Trueway Drive during certain times of the day, with access still on foot or bike.

Home is Where We Are! An Exhibition co-curated by the Gypsy and Traveller community I went along on November 2nd to look at this exhibition and found it very informative; the exhibition is moving to Market Harborough museum in the New Year. At the same time I looked around the canal museum and walked round the Foxton Locks. I was very lucky as the day was dry and sunny.

Energy Recovery Facility Nears

Completion

In the two-and-a-half years since work started on the Newhurst Energy Recovery Facility, near Shepshed, a lot has changed. Energy costs have reached record levels, landfill waste is increasingly discouraged and carbon reduction has become a necessity.

These increasing pressures have made the development of the Newhurst facility even more important.

When it becomes fully operational in the first half of 2023, the facility will annually be capable of processing up to 350,000 tonnes of residual waste every year. Residual waste is what remains after separation for recycling and, without facilities like this, it would be sent to landfill.

The highly efficient and carefully controlled incineration of this waste will also generate more than 43mW of reliable, safe, low-carbon electricity each year – enough to power around 80,000 homes, which is even more vital at a time when energy supplies are stretched.

Special technology has been fitted to the plant to keep emissions well within safe and legal limits, and the ash resulting from the process will be recycled wherever possible, into aggregates for the construction industry, for example. There are also hopes of developing a district heat network

that could supply excess hot water from the plant to properties in the local area.

The construction of the facility started in June 2020 and has progressed on schedule, with the first deliveries of waste arriving in October 2022. This has enabled gradual start-up of the plant, which is now being tested and optimised in the final phase of commissioning before full operations start within the next few months.

None of this would have been possible without the support and engagement of the local community. We are committed to being good neighbours. We set up the Newhurst Local Liaison Committee at the beginning of the

development to provide a forum for interested members of the community to find out more about the facility and share feedback between the developers and the local community.

There are two vacancies on the committee currently and we’re appealing for residents who live within three miles of the facility to consider joining. The committee meets every quarter to share updates and discuss any concerns at local level.

To find out more or put your name forward, please email newhursterfllc@covanta.com If you would like to learn more about the facility, visit info.covanta.com/newhurst

It's actually very easy now to take responsibility for your own health and fitness, if you want.

Training is free, and you will feel fantastic and reborn, especially if you've been overweight, unfit, yo-yo dieting, sleeping badly, anxious, on tablets, etc.

You can change these things yourself, and it's much simpler and more enjoyable than you might imagine.

A healthy diet includes the tastiest foods - many that we've been told mistakenly are bad for us, but which are actually extremely healthy.

Also, sunshine/daylight and fresh air are all free and extremely healthy. So is walking in nature, singing, dancing, laughter and play, companionship, and particularly: good sleep.

So why do most doctors not teach and prescribe these things?

In the 1970s, after political lobbying, the 'high-carbs' and processed foods dietary guidelines were introduced in the USA/UK/Europe, and embedded into training for doctors.

Mental illness, obesity, diabetes and chronic illnesses exploded soon afterwards. So did the prescription of antidepressants, antibiotics and other drugs, all of which have bad side-effects.

Services (business named after Woody) a beautiful Flatcoated Retriever, I lost age 4.

I started with Dog Walking locally. I became very busy quickly as my passion came across to owners of the dogs. I trained in Dog Walking Competency with City & Guilds at Brooksby Melton College, also Canine First Aid. As a minimum to be able to walk dogs safely.

Unfortunately there are no laws or Licensing to walk dogs for a living. You have to train and qualify yourself, to offer peace of mind to the public.

I wanted a boarding option that was home from home. I decided to open Licensed Home Boarding, as I kept being asked by Dog Walking Clients about holidays.

I Did my homework ; I applied to Charnwood Council for a license. Passed my first inspection at 5 Star Rating.

A 28 page document of rules and regulations to allow me to board dogs in my home. It is illegal to board dogs as a business without a local authority license.

During Covid I studied with IMDT in Professional Home Boarding and Day Care at Level 3. To enhance my knowledge for the dogs in my care.

Dog Grooming

I enrolled at Brooksby College at City & Guilds Level 2 Dog Grooming then onto Level 3 Dog Grooming Diploma. These standards are a recognised industry qualification. It takes 3 years to train in a salon and qualify at Level 2 & 3 Diploma in professional dog grooming.

Health & Safety alone is paramount. Then learn to groom every dog in the KC register to breed standard. Practical and written exam at the end.

“Believe it or not, Dog Grooming is an unlicensed industry” which needs addressing to protect the public and their dogs of course.

I enjoy grooming dogs ethically and kindly working one to one with them.

Many of my walking and daycare dogs are also groomed by me. It's all about being kinder to dogs, much nicer for them to know the groomer and build a relationship with them from puppies, as grooming done incorrectly is stressful for dogs. Resulting in fearful behaviours and stress.

And so decades ago, GPs and state healthcare services became distributors for the pharmaceutical industry: focused on big pharma treatment, rather than FREE illness prevention, natural immunity and natural healing.

Meanwhile the wealthiest few get richer, through the distortion and monetisation of health, and the addicting and dividing of societies. It's easy to see the connections - banks, pharma, politicians - debt, addictions, chronic illness.

Despite this, you can now easily take responsibility for your own health, lose weight, get fit, and reduce or get off tablets completely.
