Telemedicine Appointments As we phase into a 'new normal' world, appointments with health care providers are shifting to telemedicine options, where the visits occur over the phone or through mobile devise, desktop or laptop. NSMC registered dietitians are following suite. Our virtual appointments are easy to schedule and will continue to be an option moving forward.

Tools For Virtual Nutrition Visits To help you provide accurate information during your appointment, here are some tools: Digital home scale - use this to track weight trends. Weigh yourself no more than twice a week, first thing in the morning (preferably Monday and Friday). Place the scale on a tile floor for best results Digital food scale - weigh cooked meat, fish and poultry Small notebook to record food intake Measuring cups and spoons to gauge portions.

The North Shore Community Development Coalition (North Shore CDC), in partnership with The Salem Pantry will continue to provide bi-weekly mobile food markets on Saturdays in the alley next to the Espacio Community Center, in Salem.
