WILL I SEE A
from Booklet
Moose
Maybe! The most likely place to see a moose on the North Shore is on the Gunflint Trail. In the summer, look for them in low wetland areas, where they hang out to stay cool. They’re also great swimmers, so if you’re near a lake, look in the distance to see one paddling by. In the winter, they’re known to lick the salt off the roads and vehicles!
