Boardman Farmer’s Market now open
The Boardman Farmers Market kicked off the 2023 season Monday Memorial Day, May 29th with vendors, food, a Missing Man table, sometimes referred to as the “Fallen Comrade Table,” is meant to remind viewers of those fallen, missing, or imprisoned U.S. Military Service Members; Boardman Rural Fire Department displayed their colors from the ladder truck, and the American Legion who held a raffle for half a beef.

The Farmer’s Market is a local shopping experience that has all the small town vibes.
“Our vendors are the Star of the Show” said Lisa Ferguson, Market Coordinator. You can shop from talented vendors, hardworking farmers, grab some delicious food, and listen to local musicians (who will play for tips). Enjoy yourselves all while supporting local families and small businesses!

Boardman’s Farmer’s Market officially opened Memorial Day. There was something for everyone. The American Legion sold raffle tickets for half a beef, the Boardman Rural Fire District with their ladder truck, Layne and Aurora Kreps pretended they were driving the fire truck, Llamas Artesanias with their beautiful pottery and more, and goodies for everyone.
Market are, President Mark Sowa, Vice President Joe Taylor, Secretary Katie Sowa, Treasurer Karrie Zellars, and Market Coordinator Lisa Ferguson.

The Farmer’s Market will be held every Monday night May 29 through September 4th from 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm.
The 1st Monday of the month is the Farmer’s Market Fiesta, a Hispanic theme night with local taco vendors, and possibly a Mariachi Band, along with all the regular vendors.
The 3rd Monday is Grow your Community, with many local organizations who will be there to fundraise and offer info on lo- cal assistance programs.

So far 21 vendors have signed up for the market.
A few of the Vendors are: Three Arrows Farm, Birts Blessings, Revolve Creations, The American Legion Raffle,
Wild Mountain Honey, Boardman Busy Hands Crafts, Terri’s Touch, The Queen’s Closet, Dave’s Photography, Twisted Kandy, Llamas Artesanias. And more!
A few of the products available include:
Goat Cheese, Jerky, Bowl Cozies, Jams and Jellies, Freeze Dried Candy, Dream Catchers, Tumblers, Sweet Treats, Paper Pie Books, and MUCH more!
