Youth arrested in triple stabbing
Fighting the good fight Members of the Fire Department of North Huron’s Blyth and Wingham stations were busy on Monday, as they were called out to a field fire on Reid Road, just southwest of Wingham. The fire was said to have started when a piece of farm machinery caught fire and
the field soon followed. The blaze was kept under control rather quickly by the firefighters, who utilized a number of fire suppression methods, though not easily, as winds continued to spread the flames and create new hot pockets and small fires throughout the field. (Shawn Loughlin photo)
