publisher’s note
Personal Growth has been very important to me, particularly in the last 11 years. In college, I dealt with an enormous amount of anxiety and depression, and after a period of time, I couldn’t take it anymore. I remember a very specific day when I was 22 years old when I was at my breaking point. I prayed to a God (that at the time I wasn’t sure existed), and I made a commitment from that day on that I would never allow myself to feel that way anymore. I didn’t care how long it took, how hard it was, how much it would cost…I would find a way.
I started that journey with books, free online resources, daily meditations, and anything I could get my hands on that might help me get out of my trapped mind and emotions. As I got out of college, I continued that path and kept building on it. I recently did some reflecting and number crunching and realized that I have invested a large sum of money on personal development in that last seven years. Coaching, programs, seminars, trainings… You name it, I have probably done it. I don’t say that as some sort of brag, but I have just always felt deep in my soul that there is no better way to invest my money than into my own growth so I can be the best for myself, for others, and for God.
I wish I could teleport back to my 22-year-old self, so I could feel the massive change that has occurred within me in the last decade. So much growth has happened in that time. I have been blessed with so many amazing mentors and coaches, and I am so grateful for their influence on the trajectory of my life.
This last month, in two separate coaching calls from two different coaches, I got asked the same question relating to two different areas of my life. Both times, it led to an enormous breakthrough. I believe the quality of our life is determined by the quality of the questions we ask ourselves. I have been asked a lot of questions in the last 11 years… This question is by far the best question I have ever been asked: “What is not being said right now?” Simple, but profound if truly reflected upon. Now, I want you to ask yourself this question regarding one or all areas of your life. You may need to ask yourself this question several times to peel back the onion to get to what truly isn’t being said or addressed in your life that needs to be.
When you discover what needs to be said or addressed…I challenge you to take massive and immediate action on it. It’s time to move forward.
North Dallas real estate virtuoso Hannah Wallace is weaving dreams into reality with every transaction she touches. Born and raised a Texan, Hannah’s journey traces back to her roots in Amarillo, where the land has long whispered tales of endless possibilities. “Real estate has always been my passion,” Hannah shares, her eyes sparkling with determination. “In fact, as a little girl, I used to beg my parents to go into every Open House we saw, and now, the journey of turning dreams into keys and houses into homes is what fuels my soul.”
Hannah’s odyssey in real estate began long before she officially donned the title of REALTOR®. “I received my license in 1998, but life had other plans for me back then,” she reminisces. Undeterred by the twists and turns of fate, Hannah ventured into the world of mortgage finance, honing her skills as a senior loan officer for fifteen years. It wasn’t until eight years ago, after her third child was born, that Hannah’s burning desire for a career in real estate was finally realized.
For Hannah, real estate isn’t just a profession; it’s a an all-encompassing kaleidoscope of passions waiting to be explored. “I absolutely love working with first-time homebuyers, investors, new construction, and sellers,” she enthuses, her voice brimming with enthusiasm. From guiding first-time buyers through the maze of homeownership to partnering with investors to breathe new life into dilapidated properties, Hannah’s passion for “all things real estate” knows no bounds. “I love being a full service REALTOR®,” she says.
Amidst the accolades and achievements that adorn her career, Hannah finds contentment in the simple joys of making a difference in her clients’ lives. “Knowing that I get to do something I absolutely love while impacting someone else’s life for the better is the best reward,” she reflects, her smile as radiant as the Texas sun. It’s this unwavering commitment to her clients’ dreams that sets Hannah apart in a sea of real estate professionals.
Yet, like any journey worth embarking on, Hannah’s path hasn’t been without its challenges. “At first, it was time management,” she confesses, her laughter echoing through the room. “Learning how to balance home life, kids, clients, and personal businesses was tough.” But with grit and determination, Hannah mastered the art of juggling, ensuring that no dream was left unattended.
As she gazes towards the horizon, Hannah’s dreams stretch far beyond the realm of real estate transactions. “My current goal is to one day have my own brokerage,” she shares, her eyes alight with ambition. “I also love designing homes and flipping them back to life. That is something I want to continue doing.”
Beyond the boardrooms and closing tables, Hannah’s heart belongs to her family. Married to Thomas Wallace for 23 years, with three children in tow, the Wallace household is a bustling hub of soccer games, volleyball, orchestra and dance,

Our Partner Program,
In the heart of the bustling Dallas-Fort Worth metro plex, where the complexities of mortgages and home loans swirl around like a whirlwind, Nouri Iskander stands as a beacon of hope and perseverance in the mortgage industry. Her journey, from the shores of Egypt to the heart of the United States, is a testament to the true essence of the American Dream—a journey marked by resilience, determination, and unwavering commitment to her clients and her craft.
Hailing originally from Egypt, Nouri’s path to the mort gage industry was paved with ambition and opportunity. Armed with a double degree in finance and economics, she honed her skills as a team lead and branch supervi sor in one of Egypt’s most reputable banks. However, it was love that ultimately led Nouri to embark on a new chapter in her life. “I met my husband in 2017 while he was visiting Egypt,” she fondly recalls. “I fell for him, and in 2019, just before COVID hit, I moved to DFW to marry the love of my life.”
With a newfound sense of purpose and determination, Nouri ventured into the mortgage industry, joining NEXA Mortgage LLC in February 2021. Despite facing the chal lenges posed by a global pandemic and the joys of moth erhood, Nouri’s passion for her work remained steadfast. “I had my baby in mid-2022 while still originating and processing my own loans,” she proudly shares. “It’s been a whirlwind, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.”
At the core of Nouri’s success lies her unwavering dedication to her clients. “Helping families achieve their dream of homeownership or assisting investors in building their real estate portfolio motivates and inspires me,” she explains. It is this personal connection and genuine care for her clients’ well-being that sets Nouri apart in a competitive industry. “I take my business very personally and treat every borrower as if they were my own family,” she emphasizes.
With a repertoire boasting 230 loan products and programs, and a dedicated team comprising her loan officer assistant, Liz Ahmed, senior processor, Irene Malan, processor, Colette Luna, and two loan officers, Nouri has forged a powerhouse team committed to delivering unparalleled service to their clients. “Having my own team makes the process smoother and faster,” she acknowledges, highlighting the significance of collaboration and teamwork in achieving success.
In recognition of her exceptional performance, Nouri was ranked as the top mortgage originator in the prestigious Scotsman Guide 2024. Additionally, she achieved the remarkable feat of being in the top 1% of loan officers at NEXA Mortgage, among 2,300 peers, and securing the coveted title of number 1 in Texas among loan officers.
Nouri attributes her success not only to her own determination and hard work but also to the unwavering support and care of her parents, Husband and sister. “My parents, husband and sister have been my rock throughout this journey,” she expresses with gratitude. “Their love, encouragement, and support have been instrumental in helping me achieve my goals.”
Nouri also acknowledges the role of her faith in God, stating, “I firmly believe that it is through God’s grace and guidance that I have been able to overcome obstacles and achieve success. Every milestone, every accomplishment—I give all the credit to God.”
For Nouri, success transcends mere numbers or accolades—it is about making a tangible difference in the lives of her clients and earning their trust and respect. “Success, to me, is when I receive
referrals from previous clients and REALTOR® partners,” she reflects. It is this unwavering commitment to excellence and dedication to her clients’ needs that has earned Nouri recognition as one of the premier mortgage brokers in the industry.
As she gazes towards the horizon, Nouri’s aspirations are crystal clear: to continue expanding her team, assisting more families in realizing their dreams of homeownership, and empowering investors to attain their financial aspirations through real estate. “Tackling tough loans and navigating challenging scenarios are my specialties,” she asserts confidently, cementing her position as the “Creative Lender.” With her resolute determination, steadfast dedication to her craft, and unwavering faith, there is no doubt that Nouri Iskander will continue to illuminate the realm of mortgages for years to come.
In the bustling North Dallas real estate scene, two remarkable women stand out not just for their expertise in the industry but for the genuine connection they have with each other. Meet best friends and business partners
Shannon Beitchman and Jodi Hess, the dynamic duo behind the Dallas North Group at Compass RE, Texas. With a combined experience of over a decade, they’ve navigated the ins and outs of the market with finesse, all while prioritizing the human element of their work.
Shannon Beitchman, co-founder of Dallas North Group, brings a wealth of experience and a genuine passion for helping people find their dream homes. Her journey into real estate wasn’t a planned one; it unfolded serendipitously during her time in the Dominican Republic.
“Before real estate, I worked
Writtenat the Milton Hershey School in Pennsylvania, where my husband and I lived and worked with twelve at-risk middle school girls,” Shannon recalls. “It was challenging, but it gave me a deep understanding of human connections and resilience.”
They traveled to the Dominican Republic on what was originally planned to be an extended six-week vacation with their two young sons, but once on the island, they fell in love with the culture and the weather there. “Directly above our new apartment lived the son of the owner of the local Coldwell Banker real estate agency,” Shannon explains. “I had no experience in real estate at the time, but he told me they were always looking for luxury real estate agents who spoke multiple languages, and I speak Spanish and German. Before I knew it, I was working in real estate!”
YOUR BEST FRIENDS IN REAL ESTATE
For Shannon, the most rewarding aspect of her business lies in the relationships she builds. “I love getting to know people and helping them to get what they want,” she says warmly. “Every time I work with a client, I get to become part of their journey. I feel incredibly lucky to share in their joys and challenges.”
Her partner, Jodi Hess, Principal/Agent at Dallas North Group, echoes this sentiment. With a background in industrial organizational
psychology, Jodi brings a unique perspective to the real estate landscape. “My passion lies in ensuring transparency, especially in the new construction industry,” Jodi explains. “Having experienced the challenges firsthand, I’m committed to guiding families through the process with clarity and honesty.”
The bond between Shannon and Jodi goes beyond professional partnership; it’s a testament to their friendship and shared values. “Shannon is the brighter star and much more fun to hang out with,” Jodi quips, reflecting on their symbiotic relationship. “We complement each other perfectly, and I couldn’t imagine doing this without her.”
Their camaraderie extends to their team, which recently welcomed the talented Kailey Stafseth. “Having Kailey join us has been a game-changer,” Shannon remarks. “We’re not just colleagues; we’re a support system for each other, both in business and in life.”
Despite the demands of their profession, Shannon and Jodi prioritize worklife balance, cherishing moments with their families. “Being a mom is my other full-time job,” Shannon shares. “Balancing clients’ needs with family time can be challenging, but it’s all about setting boundaries and making the most of the moments we have.”
For Jodi, success isn’t measured solely by transactions or accolades; it’s about making a meaningful impact. “If I don’t feel like I’m helping others, I get bored easily,” she admits. “Real estate allows me to leverage my skills to support families in finding their perfect homes, and that’s incredibly fulfilling.”
Their dedication to authenticity sets them apart in an industry often driven by transactions. “Connection is key,” Shannon emphasizes. “Clients want to work with agents who genuinely care about them, and that’s who we are.”
As they look to the future, Shannon and Jodi remain optimistic about the trajectory of North Dallas. “DFW offers a unique blend of convenience, commerce, and community,”
Shannon observes. “I believe we’ll continue to see growth and diversity in the coming years, making it an even more vibrant place to live.”
In the end, what Shannon and Jodi cherish most are the relationships they’ve forged along the way. “More than anything, we want people to remember the connection they had with us,” Jodi reflects.
“Real estate is about more than buying and selling—it’s about building meaningful connec tions that last a lifetime.”
Shannon Beitchman and Jodi Hess shine in the North Dallas real estate horizon, not just for their expertise, but for their genuine commitment to their clients and each other. As they continue their journey, their passion for people remains the heart of their success.
A TALE OF “COUNTRY” GAL MEETS
“CITY” GUY
Donna Wilkerson and Gregory Knoop are two industry trendsetters with like minds who came together to form wkRealtyGroup and wkCommercialGroup as stand-out professionals committed to excellence in everything they do. While their journeys couldn’t be more different, these partners in business and life are united in a singular passion for turning their clients’ dreams into reality and never accepting mediocrity or complacency.
Written by: Katherine H. Fondren Photos by: Scott Peek, Scott Peek PhotographyDonna & Gregg are not only a top team in the office, but represent next level vision & values in the industry. The commitment to their clients is always a step above and beyond the best. The combined knowledge of Residential & Commercial make this team an asset to all Real Estate Transactions.
Donna traces her roots back to a small town in North Texas, where the values of hard work, perseverance, and creative problem-solving were instilled from a young age. From her beginnings as a third-grade teacher to her distinguished career in real estate, Donna’s unwavering commitment to share her knowledge and perspective has been the cornerstone of her success. “I consider success at the moment a client realizes their dreams have come true,” Donna shares, her voice echoing with humility.
For Donna, the most rewarding moments in her career are witnessing the joy and excitement of a first-time homebuyer. “There is nothing better than sitting at the closing table witnessing the moment my client realizes they own their own home,” Donna shares, her eyes shining with pride. These moments of accomplishments fuel her passion for real estate and drive her to go above and beyond for every client.
Gregg’s story unfolds far from the wide open spaces of Texas against the backdrop of New York City. Shaped by his parents’ journey as Holocaust survivors, Gregg’s commitment to his education led him to Skidmore College for his undergraduate studies and eventually to the halls of Harvard Graduate School of Design to study architecture. In 1985, he began a career spanning over four decades in real estate development and investments, with an expertise in helping investors build wealth through real estate, creating pathways to financial freedom and prosperity. “I take the time to educate myself about my clients’ business and put myself in their shoes,” Gregg reflects, his words infused with both excitement and empathy.
result of death, divorce, or bankruptcy, as well as the specific needs of a maturing population.
For Gregg, the true measure of success lies in helping those who thought they had no options. “Recently, I helped one family legally avoid paying capital gains tax and preserving the family’s legacy wealth, as well as saving another family from a foreclosure and having to file bankruptcy,” Gregg recounts, his voice tinged with compassion. These moments of transformation reaffirm his belief in the power of real estate to change lives for the better.
For Gregg, the transition from New York City to Texas presented its challenges and brought new opportunities for growth and collaboration. “Integrating into the Texas real estate community after practicing commercial real estate for 32+ years in NYC was a “huge challenge,” Gregg shares, his resilience shining through. What brought him to Texas wasn’t meant to be a permanent relocation, but KidZania USA, a unique educational and entertainment experience for children. As the Chief Development Officer for KidZania, it was his vision to bring the first US location to Texas. After meeting Donna and realizing he got here as soon as possible, he gave up his NY residency and career to make North Texas his new home.
Despite their challenges along the way, Donna and Gregg remain steadfast in their commitment to their clients and their community.
Georgina Hennen, Team Leader, Keller Williams North CountryAs the impact of COVID-19 challenged the real estate markets, Gregg quickly recognized the financial and emotional challenges that many would face concerning real estate. Based on his innate intuition, he pivoted to focus on what he describes as “situationally distressed” real estate to fill the void of those needing to make critical real estate decisions due to misfortune without impacting the financial outcome. Today, in addition to working with first-time home buyers, first responders, and teachers, a large part of Donna and Gregg’s real estate practice comes from those needing to sell as a
“At the beginning of my real estate career, I was told I would never succeed in real estate.” As Donna reflects, she speaks of her determination to which end she states, “That year, I closed 36 transactions generating over $300,000 in GCI and purchased my first two investment properties.”
Gregg fondly recalls an early date when Donna received a phone call from her real estate photographer, saying he wanted to take listing photos in the next hour as bad weather was coming the following day. She told the photographer she needed 90 minutes and would meet him there. Then, she turned to Gregg and said, “We need to go to Home Depot and buy a hedge clipper and light bulbs before the photographer arrives. I’m a
full-service REALTOR®; trimming hedges and changing light bulbs are all in a day’s work for this girl!”
Although they have different but very complementary ethics, values, and backgrounds, Donna and Gregg are united in their commitment to those they serve. “Every business owner/investor has two rooftops; one under which they sleep and the other for their business,” Donna explains, her voice resonating with conviction. “We work hand in hand with all our clients to ensure that we give them the best experiences no matter which roof we are advising them on.”
While Donna, born on her grandparents’ anniversary, loves all pickles, Gregg, who denies he is a foodie, loves to cook but refuses to follow any recipes.
As they look towards the future, Donna and Gregg remain focused on creating a legacy for their blended family with three adult children. They wish to positively impact their com munity and be remembered for kindness and open-mindedness to all people. They are excited about the lifestyle diversity of NYC, where they still have a home, and DFW. “We love being in the center of a fast-growing and thriving market,” Donna exclaims, her excitement palpable.
When Donna and Gregg first met, each immediately recognized their commonality in going above and beyond in everything they do, and today, they are both driven by the tremendous satisfaction of helping others, which is why the wkReal tyGroup and wkCommercialGroup brands were born. Together, Donna and Gregg coupled their shared values, dreams, and tremendous work ethic of the native Texan and the native New Yorker, bringing the “city that never sleeps” mental ity to the southern girl who works around the clock to deliver the highest level of service to all who she serves.
