One of the DFW Real Producers’ core val ues, and a core value of mine personally, is honor. Over the past couple of years, I have come to have a new understanding and appreciation for honor.
JORDAN ESPESETH jordan.espeseth@realproducersmag.comOwner
A OFCOMMUNITYHONOR
One of my mentors, and an incredible coach, is a former Navy Seal, and if there is any group of individuals that understand and live with honor … it would be the Seals.
publisher’s note
As top 500 agents, y’all receive the RP Badge of Honor based on your MLS sales production for the year. If you produce high enough, you make the cut! You get the logo, the magazine, access to the private events, and an opportunity to be featured at no cost to you. If you are an RP Vetted Business, it means that you have been recom mended by top 500 agents (they REAL PRODUCERS: are honoring you and your work), and our team is taking the time to make sure you operate a business that is honorable.
One of my favorite things about what we do at Real Producers is that not only do we honor those that are the best at what they do, but when we share your stories, the focus is on honoring you and your life … the good, the bad, the ugly. There are so many trials and tribulations that occur in life and on the journey to success, and at RP, we honor that journey. Real Producers is not a brag book. It’s a book of honor.
What I hear all the time from agents and businesses is that once they get to know other people’s journeys, they have a whole new level of respect and adoration for them. Their level of honor towards those individuals significantly increases. And that is what this is all about—giving honor where honor is due. Whether you are a Top 500 Agent or RP Vetted Business, next time you run into one of your peers, I hope you recognize their hard work and are able to honor them in some way, big or small.
Each of you has earned the RP badge, and I want you to remember that it’s a symbol of the journey you have been on. It is a badge of honor. Be sure to display it proudly. We honor you!
Fort Worth Real Producers • 7realproducersmag.com
Honor, at its core, is not only having a high level of respect but showing that level of respect with your actions. When it comes to Real Producers, we are about honoring those agents and businesses that are the best at what they do and creating a commu nity where we can honor each other.

“When I came into my career in real estate, I had two kids as a single mom. I was looking for something where I would get paid for my time,” she says.
AN ALL-IN DRIVE
“I am always a cheerleader for them,” she “Mysmiles.goalis to always be positive and uplifting for them. I want them to see that I am an optimistic person who is motivating and educating others to help them be the best they can be.” Mission accomplished. April Clements isn’t complacent. She isn’t satisfied with the way things are today when it comes to tomorrow. Instead, she is continually taking every opportunity she can to develop her skills for those she serves … in turn, fostering ongoing growth.
In their free time, April and her family have a love for travel, including a couple of international trips each year, as well as exploring their com munity and Texas. A central part of the drive that April has for her career begins with her family. “My drive starts with them. For my children, I want them to know their own worth and to understand how to invest and grow their wealth … man aging their money over time to build their own legacies,” April says.
FINDING NEW SUCCESS
No matter whether April is helping buyers find the place where they will build their dreams and grow their families for years to come or assisting homeowners who are selling their properties, she is always there for them … dedicating her experience and expertise to their cause.
April came to her career crossroads and chose to move forward in real estate in December of 2016.
FAMILY FULFILLMENT
10 • September 2022 @realproducers
Family is at the heart of life for April. She treasures time with her husband, Will, and their children — 21-yearold son Blake; 14-year-old son Connor; 12-year-old daughter Paisley; and 10-month-old son River.
“Also, when you move all the time, you learn how to make friends and talk with people. You get comfortable with being uncomfortable and with change.”
“I’ve always been a hard worker. I thought if I put my hard work for me instead of for someone else, that maybe it would pay off.” It definitely has. In fact, in 2021, she closed 82 transactions representing $15.7 million in sales volume. And through July of this year, she had already recorded 35 transactions for $12.7 million in sales volume. Today, she is adding to her growth with the addition of buyer’s agent Ashley Davidson, who works parttime in real estate in addition to her career as a teacher.

“I love meeting with clients and business partners … helping clients be truly comfortable in their skin in the home buying process,” Bryan says. “I love removing the anxiety and seeing their smiles and then showing gratitude to my referral partners. I have deep gratitude for those who have referred their friends, family, and clients to us.” Before he entered the industry, Bryan gained great experience in other endeavors. “I was in the early days of cell phones in the 1990s. For a time, I was a sales rep for MetroCel Cellular, which was the precursor to what is now AT&T. I was failing. I dreaded going to work, and I wasn’t making sales,” Bryan remembers. “And that made me seek out other opportunities.”
That’s why it’s so important to have a lending partner on your side who shares that same sense of purpose and commitment.
CONNATSER
Through time, Bryan has steadily built success through commit ment, hard work, and white-glove level service on behalf of his referral partners and clients.
“In 1997, a couple of buddies and I jumped out of the corporate world to be mortgage brokers. I was a broker for seven and a half years, and then I moved into the mortgage banking world where we are direct lending,” Bryan explains. “I love the mortgage business so much that I really don’t think I will ever retire.”
That’s the feeling Bryan and his team wants their clients to have.

“A mentor of mine told me his son had recently landed a job at a mortgage company, and he had mentioned that they were still hiring. So, I reached out to his son and got more infor mation about the opportunity. Within just a few days, I had been hired. At the end of my first week on that job, I told my wife I felt like I had found the business that I would be in for the rest of my life. That was August 8, 1994.”
STEPS FORWARD Soon it was time to take another important step forward.

Faith is also a central part of life for Bryan. “I thank God for allowing me to live my dreams through my wife and kids,” he says with a smile. In his free time, Bryan has a passion for saltwater fishing and big-game hunting. He also enjoys traveling, with favorite destinations including the Virgin Islands, Aruba, Cabo, and Hawaii. By the same token, Bryan views his cli ents as an extension of his family. “We really feel like we become family with them. We put their needs and con cerns way before ours,” he emphasizes.
“I always encourage REALTORS® to call us and find out how easy it is. We literally take the stress out of the loan process for everyone,” he says. “Everyone understands where we’re at in the process and what’s needed. We work very hard to keep everyone involved in each transaction from hav ing any level of anxiety.”
“Clients can count on four things from my team and me. One, they can know that we close on time. We close on time every time. Two, they can count on there being no ‘gotchas.’ Three, they will know what their total payment will look like, and four, they will fully understand what their cash needed to close will be. They can know and trust all of that from the very beginning. All of the agents involved in every transaction will enjoy many forms of proactive communication from Bryan and his team along the way,” he says. “We are nearly always available, and we love serving.”
Away from work, Bryan is thankful for the time he has with his family, including his wife of 33 years and their three children.

TANGIBLE ADVANTAGE
“The main reason I love our business is that at the end of every loan process, our clients are smiling. Whether buying a house or refinancing a home they own, our clients get to smile. And that’s ulti mate fulfillment for me.”
One of the most satisfying parts of what Bryan does is taking the stress and worry out of the process.
There are things we do better or differ ently than most loan originating teams, and it helps our referral partners, and their clients, have a tactical advantage when they place an offer on a home,” he points out. “We’ve had our clients’ offers accepted because of those steps we’ve taken up front.”
As Bryan says, those who work with his team know they can count on four specific things.

He had gained a lot of valuable experience in a number of areas. He remembered a role he had also worked in as a college recruiter, having the opportunity to travel and talk with students about their hopes and dreams for the future. Eventually, he settled on the path that would combine his experience, expertise, and love of people … real estate. “It seemed like a great option for me,” he recalls. “I got into the business to build wealth and to escape corporate America.” He earned his license in 2011 and began his real estate journey with a small boutique brokerage — A&M Investments Realty in Arlington. The business has been a great fit for Clifton and his appetite for helping others reach their goals. He has continued building his record of achievement through time. And in 2017, he took a new step forward — joining eXp Realty.
BUSINESS TO
As Clifton came of age, he earned his degree in computer information systems. After college, he dove into his first career — working in HR IT. All along the way, Clifton had a natural draw toward real estate. “Through time, I was always attracted to it. I remember watching shows like Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous,” he says. “We grew up with very little means, so looking at those kinds of things was very appealing to me growing up. I was always interested in big houses and architecture … and the people who owned them.” For a time, Clifton had considered pursuing a career where he could take a very hands-on approach to creating the kinds of structures that appealed to him. “For a while, I thought I would go to school for architecture, but I hated math. So, I put that aside,” he says with a smile. In time, he went to work with Lockheed Martin. Eventually, he fell victim to layoffs. The next question was which path to take forward from there.

STEGMEIERLESLEY
inspirational agent LESLEYSTEGMEIER

That’s the spirit that Lesley Stegmeier draws upon each day.
Fort Worth Real Producers • 23realproducersmag.com
“I love the problem-solving part of what we do. I’m really good at it. I always tell people I can get you through any thing in real estate,” Lesley says.
“No matter what, I know I can find a solution. Problemsolving and figuring out a solution to all types of prob lems are what I love.”
“I was good at accounting. I was going to do the CPA track, and I worked for a local public firm doing taxes and was miserable,” Lesley says. “I love numbers, but I also like people.” While she built her career in accounting, Lesley was also unfortunately building an addiction to alcohol.
Today, more than eight years later, Lesley remains sober — and lives her life with true purpose through daily recovery. “At the time, I felt like I was a failure for having spent so much time on the accounting path. But I realized that I just didn’t enjoy it. I wasn’t a failure,” Lesley recalls.
As Broker/Owner with Stegmeier Realty, Lesley is posi tive proof that there is real power in rising above.
There are storm clouds that sometimes rage in life. But those who reach results are ones who get up one more time after they were knocked down.
“I was drinking as a daily drinker,” she remembers. “However, during the summer of 2014, I made the deci sion to quit drinking.”
FINDING HER PATH. FACING ADVERSITY. Before earning her real estate license in 2014, Lesley had set out in a different direction. When she was 25 years old, she went back and earned her master’s degree in accounting.

“I want people to know that I will take care of them. I also like being silly and having fun, too. I have their back. I take that seriously,” Lesley says. “I’m trustworthy, and I will 100% take care of them. I genuinely care about them.”
FAMILY JOY Away from work, Lesley treasures time with her family, including her husband, John, and their three daugh ters — Chloe, Melanie, and Evelyn. In her free time, Lesley also has a big place in her heart for stand-up comedy. When it comes to giving back, Lesley is engaged with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA). She also moves forward with deep gratitude for those who have helped her along the way. “My old youth pastor and his wife have been involved with that and helped me get help to move in the right direction with becoming sober.”
While Lesley is fully dedicated to what she does and the people she serves, she also encourages her clients to have fun along the way.
While the ebbs and flows of life can bring challenges, they are no match for the positivity and commitment to moving ahead. That truth is proven with out a doubt by Lesley Stegmeier every day.
I WANT PEOPLE TO KNOW THAT I WILL TAKE CARE OF THEM. I ALSO LIKE BEING SILLY AND HAVING FUN, TOO. I HAVE THEIR BACK. I TAKE THAT SERIOUSLY.
24 • September 2022 @realproducers “In quitting that job, I got sober. Then, I looked forward to my next career. I spent the summer talking with people about their professions to find out what they liked and ended up going with real estate.”
BUILDING FORWARD Lesley began her career with Keller Williams. In time, she moved forward to create her own brokerage … in early 2020.

Written by: Dave Danielson •
Joining the Same Path Steven and Ann met after they were both in the business. Today, even though they both maintain their own clients, they appreciate having the chance to share the same path in the business and in life.
“I was traveling a lot selling sporting goods to high schools and colleges,” Steven says. “I enjoyed it, but I was on the road a lot.” Prior to that, after Steven completed his collegiate career at Baylor University, he got into the insurance business for a time. Then, about 16 years ago, Steven earned his real estate license and began his journey.
BUILDING STRONG BONDS power team
Photos by: Desiree Roberts
When you think about the clients you serve through your vital role in the business, what is it that makes the whole equation work?
Meaningful Connections Through their work with Coldwell Banker, they form deep, meaningful connec tions … building strong bonds with their cli ents through time. “We talk to such a wide variety of people every day. I would say that a big percentage of them become friends,” Steven says. “It’s not unusual for us to get together with other couples who we have sold houses to and build those friend ships with them. It’s a big part of what we enjoy about what we do.” Getting Their Start Ann and Steven each had their own paths into the profession. Ann had early exposure to the industry as she was growing up. “My mother, Ann Corley, was a top producing REALTOR®. In fact, she was the number one agent not just in our Coldwell Banker office, but across DFW for the last 10 to 15 years of her career,” Ann says. “I was immersed in the real estate industry when I was very young,” she says. “I entered the business kicking and screaming, but I am beyond happy that I did! I am so proud that I that get to help people fulfill their dreams by buying Before he started his adventure in real estate, Steven honed his sales skills in another industry.
In addition to the obvious things like your expertise and experience, there’s the relationship factor. You and your clients are together on the journey because you have formed a relationship based on trust and respect. That’s an area of the business that the husband-andwife duo of Steven Bradbury (associate broker) and Ann Motheral-Bradbury (REALTOR®) enjoy about their time in the business, as well.

28 • September 2022 @realproducers
Through everything they do, Steven and Ann continue looking for new ways to serve the interests and dreams of their clients.
“One of the biggest compliments we get is when people see us as advocates for them,” Ann says. “We work to the best of our ability for our clients to get them the best deal possi ble, and we do everything we can to make sure that the deal goes through smoothly and Congratulationspainlessly.” to Steven and Ann for the way they reach results for those around them … going above and beyond and build ing strong bonds.
ONE OF THE BIGGEST COMPLIMENTS WE GET IS WHEN PEOPLE SEE US AS ADVOCATES FOR THEM.
Away from work, family is at the heart of life for Steven and Ann, including Ann’s two children. In their free time, they like to spend time with friends and family. In addition, Steven enjoys hunting and clay target shooting. In fact, he even competes in target shooting competitions.
Their record of achievement is impressive. They each produce a total of more than 40 transac tions each year, representing $24 million to $40 million in combined sales volume. Along the way, Ann has earned the honor of being the number one agent in her office over the past two years, including ranking among the top 1,000 in Coldwell Banker across the nation.
