You are now no doubt aware of the risks around the COVID-19 virus and the angst it is causing here & overseas. NCCH has a Business Continuity Plan which includes a section for pandemics.

Updates & Info ....................................... 2-5

Our Quality & Compliance Manager, Richard Burns & the Exec Team have updated it for the COVID-19 virus and we have provided details of our approach and how it will impact our tenants on our website and Facebook pages.

The important thing is to keep yourself informed and respond appropriately if you or a member of your family display any of the symptoms of the virus. We will continue to keep you updated on any changes to our operations and if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to discuss it with your Tenancy Manager or a member of the Exec Team.

At the time of writing, the NSW Government has introduced further measures to minimise the COVID-19 outbreak in NSW by ordering a range of businesses to close until further notice. This will have an impact on people’s employment and if your income is affected by the loss of employment or reduction in hours, please get in touch with us so we can work through the issue and make sure we work with you to sustain your tenancy in these difficult times. We have tested the SMS function in our integrated management system and are able to message over 870 tenants with updated information on the situation as well as keeping our website and Facebook pages updated as information changes. If we don’t have your mobile number, we will be going through a process of updating tenant details and may be in contact with you over the coming weeks to make sure we have all of your relevant details. We have had to change the process around attending to maintenance calls as a result of the virus (details appear on page 5 of this newsletter), however, I ask that as we all go through this COVID-19 situation, we try and remain courteous to each other and recognise that everyone is trying to do their best to assist you in your tenancy.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION regarding how we’re conducting face-to-face business in our offices, appears on page 3. Until next time … John McKenna
