HEY GUYS As the colder nights roll in we have some fantastic big hitters in this months box! Kosmische is a super fresh DIPA with a pretty novel hop combination pairing Cyro Pop™ and Eclipse with a new experimental hop called HBC 1019. The result is a fruit salad of a DIPA that’s bursting with orange, pineapple and melon notes.

On the darker end, our highly anticipated first collaboration with Estonian stout legends Põhjala surpasses all expectations. A complex, decadent and luscious stout that pairs vanilla and creamy coconut with notes of baking spice from Amburana wood chips.

Outside the beers it’s been a busy time at the brewery! We’ve been working hard developing our cask range alongside the weekly special releases, and new core listings in supermarkets of Atlantis, Transmission and Automatic!

This means that you will receive the freshest and most recent brews of core range in your monthly boxes, thanks to the increased production.

It might’ve even been packaged that very week!

Our hard work on developing our core, cask and special releases was recognized at the Brewer’s Journal awards this year, where we added Brewery of the Year 2023 to our trophy cabinet! Absolutely none of this would be possible without the support of our fans, from those picking up their first Sputnik to you guys who are with us every step of the way. We can’t tell you how much we appreciate you all.

Infinite Geometry is a smooth, succulent Session IPA, packed full of stone fruit aroma and bursting with tropical fruit flavour. Notes of juicy pineapple, pink guava, grapefruit and a zing of citrus balance beautifully with a soft, crushed pine finish.

A handful of oats in the malt bill provide a pillowy softness, the perfect base to allow Strata, Moutere and Azacca hops to sing, and bring a punch of flavour to this juicy Session IPA.

Bring on the juice!

This delicious, thick DIPA is bursting with layer upon layer of fruity flavour. Our malt base is packed full of oats to bring that sumptuous smooth mouth feel and level up the intensity of the hops. We’ve packed this one full of Cyro Pop™, Eclipse and a new experimental hop called HBC 1019. Each sip brings a punch of flavour, layering fresh pineapple, Valencia oranges, over ripe peach, soft honeydew melon and a creamy finish that leaves you wanting more. This DIPA is potent but exceptionally pleasing.

Lost Cosmonauts has been a part of the North family for a while now. An unsung hero of our regular brews, we’re putting it in the Beer Club spotlight to show it some love! Since we first brewed it back in March 2019 we’ve been tweaking and adjusting the recipe to bring it to where it is now. We started building the recipe from our beloved Transmission, adjusting the alcohol content and dry hopping schedule to a double dry hop to amp up the profile! Loaded with the iconic Mosaic and backed up with Ekuanot and Columbus, it covers a lot of ground on the flavour scale. Fresh piney aroma and flavour are upfront and rounded off with bags of intense sharp tropical pineapple and guava and rich apricot and mango stone fruit. It’s always a good day at the brewery when Lost Cosmonauts is making its way into cans, the underfill box doesn’t last long.

A hazy American pale ale that has balance at its core. A good malt presence, fermented using traditional English yeast and dry hopped with new world hops, Ekuanot, Columbus and Citra hops. Bold flavours of juicy honeydew melon, citrus grapefruit, ripe mango and a touch of lychee finish with crisp bitterness. The ingredients we use bind together to create an easy drinking pale ale that can be enjoyed by anyone at any time.

Light, bright and laid back, Atlantis is a 4.1% soft and crushable SIPA. Made with American Mosaic and Citra hops and Australian Galaxy hops, Atlantis sings with vibrant pithy grapefruit and crushed pine needle aroma and bursts with sweet blueberry and fleshy pineapple flavour, all rounded off with a satisfying bitter finish that keeps you coming back for more.

A soft and smooth New England IPA made with our house pale malt, rolled oats and chit malt to provide a gentle, soft and pillowy body. Azacca and Mosaic ooze with sweet sticky passion fruit, overripe mango and freshly squeezed orange juice and crushed pine needles with Sabro providing its unmistakable qualities of fresh lime zest, coconut and a touch of spice on the finish.

BREWERY OF THE YEAR We’re thrilled to share the exciting news of our recent accolades awarded at the Brewers Congress 2023, held last month. Our Cofounders John and Christian, along with our talented head brewer Seb Brink, attended the prestigious event where North emerged as the ‘Brewery of the Year 2023’ and John and Christian were honoured as ‘Global Ambassadors’.

The evening was filled with anticipation, as we had been shortlisted for two of the most coveted awards: ‘Brewery of the Year’ and ‘Brewer of the Year.’ However, there was an unexpected twist that left us all in awe. During the awards ceremony, the organisers revealed

the surprise accolade of ‘Global Ambassadors’ for John and Christian, recognising their contributions to the world of brewing.

Having previously been awarded ‘Best New Beer 2022’ and ‘Best Brewing Pub Company 2022’ by Brewers Journal, we are excited to add two new awards to our belt, but the celebrations don’t stop here as we have also been shortlisted for the ‘Pub Business of the Year 2023’ at the Peach 20/20 Hero and Icon awards. We eagerly await the results and hope to continue our winning streak!
