Wire Chair LKR Charles & Ray Eames,Farben 1951 Wire Chair - Neue New Lounge-base Featuring a welded steel wire seat shell, the compact LKR chair is a variation of the LSR models with a shell in fibreglass-reinforced or polypropylene plastic. Charles and Ray Eames used both wire and fibreglass versions in the furnishing of their own residence, the legendary Eames House in the Pacific Palisades neighbourhood of Los Angeles. Like all other models in the Wire Chair family by Vitra, the LKR is available without upholstery, with a seat cushion or with a two-piece seat and back cushion – also known as the 'Bikini' pad due to its shape. In the powder-coated variant without upholstery, the LKR is also suited for outdoor use.

The Wire Chair LKR is available in four new colours. More information can be found under vitra.com/wirechair

Terracotta Pots Thélonious Goupil, 2023

Terracotta Pots

The Terracotta Pots are made of dense fired clay. The column-like forms of the different sized pots serve as pedestals for the plants they hold, elevating them and giving them more presence in the room. The Terracotta Pots are made of natural high-quality clay from Italy, which is pressed into shape and fired. The pots are extremely durable and water-resistant. The inside of the Terracotta Pots is glazed and they come with a drainage hole in the base.

The Terracotta Pots come in four sizes: XS, S, M and L. Our Guide to indoor plants and herbs can be found under vitra.com/terracottapots-EN

HAL RE Jasper Morrisson, 2010/2023 Made of recycled plastic HAL RE marks another product that Vitra has converted to recycled plastic. HAL is Jasper Morrison's interpretation of a shell chair in the tradition of the Plastic Chair by Charles and Ray Eames, whose variety of different bases enables versatile use – from dining tables to meeting rooms, from bars to auditoriums. Originally designed in 2010, HAL has now undergone further development by Vitra: the seat shell of HAL RE is made of recycled plastic. The recycling material for HAL RE stems from Germany's 'Yellow Bag' (Gelber Sack) collection of household waste, which primarily consists of used packaging. Utilising this recycled material instead of conventional plastic generates less climate-damaging emissions, with a significant reduction in energy consumption.

Herringbone Vessels Raw-Edges, 2019 Created by Raw-Edges, the Herringbone Collection emerged from the studio‘s interest in the technique of immersion dyeing. The transformations of different materials and shapes when parts of them are dipped in a dye bath exert an almost magical fascination on the design duo Shay Alkalay and Yael Mer. The Herringbone Vessels are created by repeatedly immersing ceramic bowls and vases in a coloured glaze. This process yields a pattern with an intrinsic logic, determined by the dipping angle as well as the shape and weight of the piece. As the dyeing process is performed entirely by hand, each bowl and vase in the Herringbone Collection is a unique object.
