Dreams, dragons, and melting clocks
orrlands nation has been known as both the birthplace and funeral home of many students’ hopes and dreams. The brilliant ideas born out of the late nights at Orvars krog may be reconsidered when studying in Majs café at 8 am the next morning, only to appear considerably less brilliant in the daylight. And thus, yet another dream has shrivelled up, coughed, and promptly died.
NIt sounds rather dramatic, doesn’t it? But the fun thing about dreams is that they don’t have to be dramatic at all. They can be stupid, endearingly so, like my own dream to one day ride a dragon. And although I am completely serious about that one in particular, one doesn’t have to be. I would’ve written something about the dreams we have when we’re sleeping too, but how do you make sense of things when the random man you saw in the supermarket last friday is now your aunt who is suddenly also a cat? And oh no, the clocks are melting. Run.

Generally, it’s difficult to know what is going on. There’s so much to do, deadlines to meet, people to talk to, and never enough time to figure it all out. But that’s what we’re here for, and we at Norrlands varjehanda have compiled this issue to help guide you along, make sense of some dreams, and inspire you to reach them.
Happy dreaming!
