CESA is a national organization whose mission is “ …to hold accountable Christian schools that aspire to superlative academic standards and institutional best practices ” NCS remains the only school in Virginia with CESA membership

* “Blown away ” by students who were kind, polite, and excited to initiate conversation

* Teachers and administrators are dedicated to finding the best path for every student, providing excellent academic training with enrichment and support as needed, and caring for students’ social/emotional wellbeing.

* NCS exudes a warm, inviting atmosphere where students are clearly known and deeply cared about by staff. The Team noted that “It truly feels like a family.”

Norfolk Christian Schools Statement of Faith

There is one God eternally existing in three persons – the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit

The Holy Scriptures are verbally inspired by God and are our only infallible rule of faith and practice Jesus Christ died, shedding his blood for our sins, and was bodily raised from the dead for our justification. He will return visibly and bodily with power and great glory. Man is by nature and practice a sinner separated from God and can become God’s child only by faith in Jesus Christ and submission to the will of God as revealed in the gospel Those who are thus born into God’s family have eternal life, and those who are not remain in spiritual death and will be separated from God forever in hell The Holy Spirit lives in the believer and enables him to walk in purity of life and submission to the will of God All believers are united in the body of Christ

Norfolk Christian Schools admits students of any race, color national and ethnic origin to all the rights privileges programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school It does not discriminate on the basis of race color national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies admissions policies scholarship and loan programs and athletic and other school administered programs
