With a 3,000 mile range, over 7,000 gallons of fuel and increased capacities for water making, freezer and storage, its extended voyage capabilities will bring the world’s sport fish right to your back door. And with live bait wells, outriggers, built-in tuna tubes, in-deck fish freezer holds, rod holders, tackle storage, crow’s nest fish spotting and more, the Venture More is fully set up for great fishing action.

Built To Cruise The dual-purpose design of the 106’ gives it world cruising capabilities plus the advanced features to achieve great sport fishing results on long-range expeditions. Venture More has 6 staterooms, sleeps 13 and surrounds its owners, guests and crew in luxurious accommodations that turn ocean crossings into relaxing getaways. The Nordlund 106’ is fuel efficient, stable in rough weather, and with a draft of only 6’0” it can explore places where other yachts simply can’t go.

WORLDWIDE EXPLORING Beauty in Motion Renown naval architect Ed Monk Jr. has designed the Venture More with remarkably elegant lines, a long bow and a rakish pilothouse windshield. The top deck arch gives a sense of strength to the crow’s nest command center and the twin satellite domes above the radar platform. Its stylish contours and features are exceptional for a purpose-built long-range yachtfisher. As you come aboard, the custom ovalshaped twin live bait tank with glass viewing ports announce immediately that this yacht is designed for world class sportfishing adventures and cruising.

Time Machine There are times when you’d really like to kick up your heels to get somewhere fast. That’s when the Nordlund 106’ excels. With a top speed over 20 knots, you can make harbor before dark, get to shelter ahead of bad weather, or just fit more fun into a day. The twin CAT C32 ACER diesels give you 3,200 HP so you can quickly put some distance between where you are, and where you’d rather be.

Performance History For over 55 years, Nordlund custom boats have been tested on tough waters, from the Pacific Northwest to all the oceans of the world. Our hulls are made using advanced vacuumformed cored fiberglass and are among the toughest you’ll find anywhere. We also use cored fiberglass in our superstructure construction, to give our boats added strength and durability, without the burden of excess weight.

Panoramic Cruising Once inside, the views surround you and give you an ever-changing panorama. The salon is outfitted in handsome fabrics and beautiful wood finishes. The spacious salon has a hideaway 65” TV and an advanced entertainment center. A wet bar and comfortable seating invite you in, to enjoy the exceptional design and precision craftsmanship throughout this remarkable yacht.

Form with Function The spacious wraparound galley invites participation with its expansive marble counters. There’s plenty of counter space and beautiful wood finished storage cabinets below and above. The large stainless sink has a dishwasher on one side and a trash compactor on the other. Freezer and refrigerator drawers under-counter give added cold storage space, in addition to the refrigerator.

Cooking options include a 36” induction cooktop, a convection oven and a steam oven.

So the Venture More is equipped with the advanced electronic equipment that keeps you informed and proactive. ??? Dual Furuno long range radars, side scanning sonar, fathometers, fish finders, satellite weather, satellite communications, VHF, engine room monitoring and closed circuit TV keep you in constant command.

Everything For Fishing The crow’s nest control station lets you search for the next sign of birds or bait schools. But the real excitement’s on the aft deck where everything you need for great fishing moments is built right in. The two custom bait wells keep live bait fresh and ready for game fish action.

Multiple rod holders, built-in rod storage, tackle storage cabinets and lots of deck space make fighting fish a pure joy. Tuna tubes built into the rails give you an advantage when your sights are set on big fish. Outrigger poles and gaffs can be retrieved from hidden storage tubes. Remote steering stations on the California deck and upper boat deck level give the skipper added control to help the angler during epic battles. It has three helm chairs, a full helm control station, two settees, refrigerator, sink, barbeque and stairs to the crow’s nest control tower. A 4,400 lb davit and shoreboat storage area are aft.

MAIN DECK From Fishing to Luxury Enter through the transom door, past acrylic bait tanks and up twin curved stairs, to the covered California deck. Inside is the salon and dining area, with the galley forward. The pilothouse has three helm chairs, a settee, exterior doors, and stairs to below or to the flybridge.

LOWER DECK Stateroom Accommodations The master stateroom is mid-ship and full beam, with a king bed, ample storage and a luxurious private bath.

The two guest staterooms also have private baths.

Forward and starboard is the captain’s stateroom.

Additional crew’s quarters are to port and forward.
