CONVOLUTE WHEELS

The convolute wheels are made by wrapping nonwoven material impregnated with special resins with addition of first quality abrasive grains and glued around a bakelite core. They are available in different diameters and densities.

APPLICATIONS:

Removal of medium to heavy burrs, deburring, surface removal on cast aluminium; mould junction removal, cleaning welds, removing parting lines from casting and forging-deburr punched holes before anodic oxidation or painting. They leave a slightly satin effect.

EVO DEBURRING CONVOLUTE WHEEL (S/C)

They represent the ideal starting point of medium to heavy burrs. They deburr and smooth radius, especially on welds requiring sanding.

Removal burrs and parting lines from casting and forging-deburr stainless steel pipe threads and punched holes, on aluminium and stamped parts.

Polish welds and small pieces before coating; surgical instruments, turbine blades and other stamped components, remove scratches and surface defects.

EVO MULTIFINISHING CONVOLUTE WHEEL (S/C)

Good performance for light and medium deburring, radius edges and finishing of all kind of metals. Ideal for manual use on complex workpieces as it’s highly conformable. The open web soft construction of these wheels generates uniform and attractive final finishes on ferrous and non-ferrous metals. It’s tough enough to finish edges and welds and soft enough to apply a nice finish on larger surfaces. Its construction removes surface contamination without re-depositing contaminates onto the workpiece.

STAL WHEEL

STAL wheels are used for cleaning weld seams, removal of small stock thus leaving a clean manageable surface to work on.

They are also used for removal of rust, corrosion, burrs, calamine and paints.

Thanks to their structure they never clog as they are self-cleaning.

PT1 AND PT10 CONVOLUTE WHEEL

The convolute wheels PT1 and PT10 are made with nonwoven material wound in a spiral fashion, compressed and injected with special resins with addition of first quality abrasive and glued around a bakelite core.

The PT1 and PT10 convolute wheels have been developed to help manufacturers meet product quality and efficiency requirements.

Suitable for heavy operation such as stainless steel rods polishing and micro-deburring.

Can work uninterruptedly for many days at fast without losing its properties.

PT1 adapts itself on the workpiece thanks to its properties. PT10 is harder and most suitable on flat surfaces

DV CONVOLUTE WHEEL AND SHAFT MOUNTED DV CONVOLUTE WHEEL

Planetary orbital wheels for very hard steel, suitable for example on friction clutch plates of trucks and caterpillars. After abrasive belt sanding, it can easily achieve the required RA with an uniform and unique finish. Very conformable on the workpiece, avoids overheating. These wheels run on their own shaft and at the same time in groups of three for a complete finish of the wide surface. This wheel, very long-lasting, is employed after flap discs treatment.

POLYURETHANE BONDED WHEELS

Thanks to the particular mixture of the components studied from our chemical laboratory, we have achieved a compactness that confers to these tools the possibility to attack the surface and obtain a very good finish. They are made in silicon resin expanded, mix with carbide. They are specific for all soft metals such as nickel and silver but they also have high performances in the operation of finishing harder metals.

The very particular blending of the components of this sanding wheel, silicon carbide plastic foam, has been specifically studied by our chemical lab to guarantee a unique compactness able to achieve an aesthetically perfect surface finish It is specifically designed for working on the metal parts of spectacles, on soft metals (nickel silver types) and also boasts a high quality finish and ‘super finish’ on semi-finished products of harder metals.

POLYURETHANE BONDED

A1G ABRASIVE WHEEL

A soft wheel, ideal for finishing and cleaning the surface from imperfections. It has been designed to give excellent performance on the metal parts of eyeglasses, on soft metals such as nickel and silver, but guarantees excellent results even for the finishing of harder metals

In the production of surgical and dental instruments and tools, these wheels grant a slight satin finish effect. An opaque surface is required in order to avoid reflection effect in the O.R., but at the same time an extremely low roughness is mandatory, in order to avoid scuffing and bacteria growth from previous processes.
