In animals, Noopept is believed to work with acetylcholine and neurotrophin in the brain, although it is not entirely understood.

Noopept’s molecular formula is C17H22N2O4 and it has a molecular mass of 318.373 g/mol.

It is also known as GVS-111 and the CAS number is 157115-85-0 (2).
