Architecture has played a major role in the making of the Kitchen in traditional houses of Kerala. The kitchen being the heart of a home, people gather to congregate and socialize which fuels the soul of a family. This book showcases the design and activities of traditional Kerala kitchens in the past and recent past, amply proving that today’s design is the outcome of continuous research and the result of innovation.
