NOMV is Headed to VMX! We are incredibly excited to return to VMX in 2024! NOMV will be at booth 552 to engage with and support veterinary professionals from around the globe. Representatives from CLEAR and other NOMV programs will be available to answer questions about our work, scope, and efforts to bring about transformative change in the veterinary profession. If you’re going to be in Orlando, please stop by and say “Hi!”
Price Model Update We are excited to continue learning, growing, and supporting veterinary professionals in 2024. As part of program development, we are updating our pricing model to further our impact on the industry. CLEAR Blueprint remains the only NOMV program that asks for a financial contribution from participants, and we maintain our commitment to affordable accessibility. This includes a scholarship program and collaboration with our exclusive sponsor, Merck Animal Health, that can help alleviate costs as a barrier to enrollment. Updated pricing will go into effect beginning January 8th, 2024. We will honor 2023 pricing for teams that have met with us for an Informational Session prior to January 8th and enroll in an assessment within 6 months of the Informational Session meeting. Content Updates Our team remains committed to creating a program that is relevant and responsive to the community we support. This includes regular review of our educational content to ensure that our approach and information are valuable. To that end, we have some changes to our module content to announce: “Ensuring Medical Competencies” is now “Shaping Emotional Wellbeing in Veterinary Practice” This change better aligns with how this module has developed throughout the life of the program. Our emphasis is the impact that practicing medicine can have on staff wellbeing, not medical practice itself We have added two new resources that your teams may find valuable Coa is a technology-based platform that offers subscription-based mental health resources that include live emotional fitness classes, an on-demand library of videos for staff and management, and an option for customers to be “matched up” with an individual therapist. Access to these services is subscription-based for individuals and employers. Individual therapy is a separate cost. Emotional Balance Energy Levels Building Trusting Teams The International Association for Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC) published a toolkit for engaging with LGBTQ+ clients. The information provided is based on surveys of LGBTQ+ IAABC members and research of best practice descriptions and terminologies from international and US-based LGBTQ+ organizations. The content includes best practices for marketing, client intake, communication with clients, a glossary of terms, and legal obligations. It also included links to resources throughout the guide for more information on a particular topic. Certified Teams Congratulations to our most recent teams to certify through CLEAR Blueprint! These teams demonstrated mentally healthy workplace cultures through assessments completed by at least 80% of their paid staff members. We are so thrilled to continue working with these fantastic teams!
