OUR SHOWROOM NETWORK IN THE UK
Nolte Kitchens Retail manages a unique network of 15 showrooms across the country – the only Nolte-owned showroom network worldwide. These showrooms are staffed with talented kitchen designers who offer direct-to-consumer sales. Over the past 12-18 months, our showrooms have experienced remarkable growth, achieving more sales by the end of July 2024 than we saw in the whole of 2023. This success underscores our strong establishment of the Nolte Küchen brand in the UK’s mid-premium kitchen market.
Nolte Kitchens Contracts caters to house builders, property developers, architects, and interior designers on a project-by-project basis. Our recent acquisition of BKNC, a former long standing partner, has expanded our workforce to approximately 80 employees and enhanced our internal capabilities, including the addition of an in-house warehousing and logistics facility in Wrexham. This acquisition not only strengthens our contract projects division but also improves service delivery across all Nolte UK business areas.
To support our ambitious growth plans, Nolte UK has launched a franchise model, which offers aspiring entrepreneurs and kitchen designers the opportunity to open a turnkey Nolte Küchen showroom armed with comprehensive support from our UK head office, including design and installation, finance, HR, marketing, and operations.
Additionally, our Independent Retailer division continues to grow and expand its network, boosted by our recent participation in KBB Birmingham – our first exhibition in four years. This event provided an excellent platform for Nolte Küchen to reinforce its presence in the KBB sector and showcase the support we offer to our existing customers.

Nolte Küchen sets new standards in the furniture industry as the first company to already meet the requirements of the CSRD reporting obligation.
The grounds of Nolte Küchen have been home to local bees since the summer of 2023, and they have already brought in their first nectar into their hive. They not only provide delicious honey but are also indispensable pollinators, making a significant contribution to the preservation of many plant species.

THE ENVIRONMENT

Even today, our effective climate and environmental management regime lets us manufacture our products in a climate-neutral manner at our operating bases in Löhne and Melle. Nolte Küchen's main energy sources are certified green electricity as well as our boilers which are operated with offcut wood from production.

The building is divided into perimeter and courtyard buildings, the perimeter area along Eichstrasse. The building has five standard storeys and two attic storeys. There are large flats on the ground floor and first floor and two maisonettes up to the first floor. The kitchens and dining areas face north. All in all, a diverse mix of flats for a wide variety of living concepts has been created here while maintaining the same quality of living.

The realisation took place from 2016 to 2022. The Hochbord neighbourhood is located at the northern foot of the Zürichberg, between the centre of Dübendorf and Stettbach railway station.
Two stable building structures, a long building to the north and a tall building to the south, mark the city boundary and the entrance to the neighbourhood. The ground floor of the southern building houses a wholesale business as well as commercial and office space. Above this, the building is divided into two wings containing small urban flats and lofts. The northern longitudinal building houses commercial premises and maisonette flats on the ground floor and many flats of various sizes above.

Hochbord is a dynamic and growing neighborhood in Dübendorf, near Zurich. The project features several notable buildings and offers high living quality with well-designed, bright, and spacious living spaces.
Communal areas and facilities encourage interaction and community among residents. The Westhof complex includes a semi-public rooftop terrace as a social hub and event space, along with community gardens maintained by residents. Hochbord focuses on sustainability and environmental protection: The Westhof project is SNBS-certified (Swiss Sustainable Building Standard) and incorporates energy-efficient solutions such as solar energy and LED lighting. The construction promotes biodiversity and integrates nature into the urban environment.

Luxurious villas were built here on a total area of 31,000 square metres with 86 % green space. The opulently equipped kitchens were traditionally designed in a modern interpretation. The high-gloss fronts and wood-effect worktops emphasise the idea of luxury, as do the generously installed, high-quality electrical appliances.
