Pilar

My name is Pilar. I´m Spanish. I´m a business woman, I work with my husband in El sebaceous where it´s the principal store but also we have stores in Arinaga and in Tenerife.

I´m a chubby woman. I have dark short hair but I like to dye it of different colours; now, it´s a little red.

I´m a cheerful woman with a sense of humour, I´m very fond of my friends. I ´m very worker and everything interests me.

I was born in Arrecife, in Lanzarote island.

I speak Spanish and a little English.

I like reading especially history books and old books. I like to travel with my children and to visit museums and special places where my children can learn many things.

In my free time I go swimming and I go to the Canteras beach sometimes alone, sometimes with my family and friends.

I study English because I want to speak English.

Charo My name’s Mª del Rosario González. It’s a catholic name but I prefer that people call me Charo, because it’s short name. I’m from Agüimes in Canary Island, Spain .Now, I live in Las Palmas of Gran Canaria whit my husband and my two sons when they came back for holidays.

I am 52 years old, and I’m a teacher. This year I'm teaching adult people in Vecindario. I feel that it’s an interesting job in this moment. I’m in my first year, in the last time I have work in Primary and Secondary school and I have saw that the work is different.

I’m going to tell you about myself. I have long , brown and curly hair . I have many mole in my face. I wear glasses. I think I¨m optimist persons.

I´m calm but sometime nervous,I like laugh I¨m extrovert, talkative and frendly. I get on well with most people. I don´t smoke.

In my free time I go to English classes three times of week, early in the morning because I work in the afternoon every day. I like read, walk and I often talk with my sons though Skipe . I hate hearing “I’m bored because there are many things to do every days.

I want to learn English because I like to travel and speak it is a good help for it..

Paco My name´s Paco. I´m from Spain. I´m Spanish. I was born in Teror,a little village of Gran Canaria Island I live in a flat in Las Palmas of Gran Canaria city, I´m sixty-five years old. I´m married with a woman called Vicky.

I have got two daughters and only one son.Also I´ve two nice grand-daughters.

They don´t live at home. They´re independent people.

I´m not working now because I´m retired. When I worked I was a teacher that taught in Radio Ecca In this language course I´m studying second level of English at The Language School of Guanarteme.

I´m not very tall. I wear glasses to see better. I have short and grey hair and I have green eyes.

I´m not funny, I´m serious but I´ve got many friends.

In my free time,I don´t play any sports. I like going for a walk by Las Canteras Promenade I also like to go to concerts of Classic Music

Pilar My name´s Pilar. It´s a Spanisn name. I´m Spanish and I live in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria in Canary Islands, but I was born in Arrecife in Lanzarote Island.

I lived in Arrecife until I was 17 years, after I went to Las Palmas to study at university and I have not returned to Lanzarote. I only go there on holidays, because my parents live there.

I am 43 years old, and I´m a business woman, I work with my husband in El Sebadal but also we have stores in Arinaga and in Tenerife.

I´m married and I have 2 daughters and 1 son. They are 11, 9 and 7 years old.

I´m going to tell you about myself. I have a dark short hair but like to dye it of different colors now it have strands fuchsia. I´m short and chubby woman.

My oldest daughter says that I´m funny. I think I´m a hardworking person but my husband says Im exhausting because I´m always thinking of new things to do by myself or with my children.

I´m my free time I like reading, painting and doing crafts. I like going to the beach with my family. And also being with my husband without my children.

Pilar I'm Pilar. (I don't know why my name is Pilar I think it's because 50 years ago this was a common name.)

I was born in Madrid but I'm living in Las Palmas for 5 years. Las Palmas is a small town with a beautiful beach where I can walk and swim every day of the year.

I live with my son and my husband. I'm a housewife. I'm studying English . I go to the class twice or three times a week but I study English every day.

As you know I'm tall and I have short, black and any grey hair. I'm friendly, talkative and very forgetful.

In my free time I like walking and talking with my friends but now I don’t have much time free because every day I have to help my son with his homework.

He's a bad student.

He tells me that I'm an annoying and strict mother but I think that he's very lazy I hope you're enjoying your trip.

Francisco My name´s is Francisco I´m Spanish. I live in Las Palmas (Canarias Island) . I ´m an Aircraft Engineer, but now I´m retired. I´m rather short. I have short and white hair. I´m friendly. I get on well with everybody, sometimes I´m a little shy. I was born in Murcia on the 28th of February 1936. I speak Spanish and a little, very very little English. I like football, the beach, tennis and walking along the beach. I´m married and I have (have got) two children, their ages and names are Pablo and Federico. Pablo is 40, he´s a nurse and he works in a hospital, Federico is 32, he´s a Doctor and he works in a Hospital too. both are bachelor ( single) but both have got girlfriends. Pablo lives in Las Palmas, Federico lives and works in Seville. He likes Seville very much.

Frank My name´s Frank I´m from Spain. I was born in Murcia, I´m Spanish. I´m 74 years old. I´m married and I have got two children, their names and ages are: Pablo 42 and Federico 32. Pablo is a nurse he works In a hospital. Federico is a Doctor he works in a hospital too. I´m an Engineer, but now I´m retired. I´m studying English because it ´s very good for my brain. We must fight against Alzehimer.

I´m going to tell about myself. I have short and white hair, brown eyes, small mouth, white skin and small ears. I´m rather low.

I'm not a negative person but a realistic person. I´m not very talkative. I tend to speak what is right and sometimes a little less. I am always very respectful of others. Rather I´m a little shy.

In my free time I like go to the beach and to walk overlooking the sea and the waves.

Hi...........I want to talk about my son Frederick to play the third person.

His name is Federico He´s 32 years old. He lives in Seville, he´s a doctor and he works in a hospital, he likes his job very much, but it´s very hard, he is also a very human person. He´s bachelor but he has a girlfriend. She´s 25. She´s from Madrid.

She´s a lawyer and she works in an International Company, she´s very very intelligent. She´s more intelligent than him, sometimes he feel a little complex at her side. She speaks English, French and Germany. He only speak Spanish and a little English, this is the main reason why he wants to learn English. I´m going to tell you about himself and about his girlfriend. He´s very tall. He has dark long hair, green eyes, small nose, white skin, small mouth and white teeth. He doesn´t wear glasses.

In his free time he loves reading and going to walk along the beach. But he doesn´t have much free time because he works every day from 9:00 to 1:00 in the morning and from 4:00 to 7:00 in the afternoon. After work he comes back at home. When he gets home, he is very tired. (When he comes back at home he is very tired). Every other day he goes to the gym too. It´s very good for his health.

As for his girlfriend: She´s quite tall and slim. She has blonde and short hair, brown eyes, white skin and small nose. Really she´s very beautiful.

He loves her very much.

Félix

My name is Félix María. I was named Félix because I was named after my grandfather. And María for my grand mother. And I like my name.

I live in Las Palmas .

My occupation now is only to study English. I think that my personality is normal. I was born in Arrecife de Lanzarote. I have lived in Lanzarote at two sites in Yaiza, about ten years and then seven years Arrecife. But I leave aut when I was 17 years old. I am a sailor by profession and I love sailing and learn about other lands, so, I am a sailor.

I spend my free time with my family and my friends...

Desiree My name is Desiree. It`s a French name because my mother liked it. I live in a house in Las Palmas with my boyfriend and my pet.

I’m a student at university and I go there every day. I study tourism. I’m 24 years old and I` m Spanish. I was born in Gran Canaria. I’ve got short black hair and brown eyes. I`m friendly and introvert . I’m studying English and German at school I have two brothers, they live with my parents. They’re 22 and 15 years old.

In the future I’m going to work and travel around the world. In my free time I love dancing, going to the cinema, listening to music and going shopping with my friends but I hate cooking. I want to study English because I like it and I need for my job.

Fernando My name´s Fernando, because my great-grandfather was from Malaga and his name was Fernando. It´s a German name but in Spain it is very popular name. I ´m Spanish from The Canary Islands. I was born on the 19th of December of nineteen forty six in Las Palmas de G.C. It is the biggest city of the Canary Islands I live alone in Mogán, it´s a village in the South west of Gran Canaria. I have a house in Mogán.

I was a teacher at Art School of Las Palmas de G.C. but now I don´t work, I´m retired, I´m 63 years old.

My appearance: I´m quite tall and quite fat with brown ayes and bald. I wear glasses sometimes when the words are very small.

I think, I´m a positive person. I´m quite extrovert with my friends but I´m quite timid (shy) with stranger people. I´m generous, funny and friendly.

I speak modern Greek because I was studying in Athens in 1972.

I like: Arts, history and traveling very much.

In my free time I love reading the newspaper every day, going to the cinema and the theater. I like walking on the beach and the mountain in Mogán.

I learn English to travel abroad.

Encarna My name’s Encarna, I’m from Spain and I live in Las Palmas . I was born in Avilés (Oviedo), but I think I'm Zamorana because my family is from Zamora, I was born in Aviles for family reasons.

I’m a housewife but sometimes I help my husband in his business, I’m married and I have two children, my daughter is 20 and my son is 16.

I’m 47, you can see my picture,I’m thin, I have blonde hair and blue eyes. I’m funny, amused and very busy also,sometimes my husband says I’m impossible, I think I’m also very generous.

I speak Spanish and LITTLE, LITTLE, LITTLE English. I study English and it is very difficult for me.

In my free time I read, I like going to the cinema, I love walking along the beach and swimming in the beach.

I study English because I went with my friends to London and I realized how important it is to know English: to travel and live on this island.

I was born in Madrid and I’m living in Las Palmas five years ago. I speak Spanish and very little English but this year I hope to learn much English. Garbriela My name´s Gabriela.I`m from Argentina,but I live in Las Palmas .I live with my parents , I’m 44 ,I`m single, I work in The Corte Ingles, in the hairdresser ,I’m a manicure and pedicure. I’m short, I have short red hair, and brown eyes. I think I’m a positive woman,happy,friendly,and very talkative. Estefanía My name is Estefania, I’m from Spain and I live in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Canary Islands). I study at university. I have dark hair, brown eyes and I`m not very tall. I think I have a good sense of humor, I`m happy and sometimes I`m a little bit shy.

I was born on the 18th of December in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. I’m 24 years old, I speak Spanish and a little bit English. In my free time, I like stay with my friends and family, I like going to the cinema, listening music I also like play to tennis on the weekend.

My reasons for learning English, I like it and I think English is very important for any job and when I finish studying I would like to live abroad for one year.

Idaira My name’s Idaira and I’m Spanish. I live in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria in Canary Islands. It’s an archipelago next to West Africa. I live with my parents and my young brother in their house. I’m 29 years old, I’m unemployed and I’m finishing Marine Science at the university too.

As you can see from the photo, I have long curly dark hair and brown eyes. I usually wear contact lenses but I sometimes wear glasses if there is haze or my eyes hurt. I’m a little thin and not very tall. I think I’m sometimes a little lazy person but I’m always talkative. I’m not very extrovert but I like meeting people.

I was born on the 31st of July in Las Palmas. I speak Spanish and a little bit English because It’s hard to learn speak in other language.

In my free time I read novels, watch TV series and surf on internet every day.

At the weekend I like going to the beach or a cinema, taking a walk on the sand or in the country, because my friends have classes or work and I also study English at a language school.

I want to learn English because It’s very important language and I will help me to found job or if I go abroad.

Erika My name´s Erika. I´m Spanish and I live in Las Palmas of Gran Canaria (Canary Island). I live with my parents and my sister. I am26 years old, and I´m at university. I´m studying telecommunications engineer. I´m in my last year I ´m with the final project.

I´m going to tell you about myself. I have short brown hair and dark eyes. I´m thin but not very tall. I think I´m a person very positive.I´m a person very smiling. Sometimes I´m a bit shy. I´m friendly too.

I was born on the 4st of February of 1984 in Las Palmas. I speak Spanish and a little English.

In my free time I watch TV and I like going to the cinema and going to the beach. I like listening to music too. I like going out with my friends.

My name is Fabian, I was named after my grand father was Fabio. I´m from Ecuador, but I live in lays Palmas ( Canarias Island Spain) in a good place in town. I live alone in a big flat near Triana Street. I am 39 years old, I´m divorced and I have a boy. I´m a teacher in Chemistry and Biology, but I´m validating my tittle to primary teacher in the university of Las Palmas, also I´m studying English, after class I go to work in my shop.

In my free time I love go to the gym,play volleyball,and swimming. I have free all weekend. On Saturday night I go to the Disco with my friends,I like to dance and drink beers.

Every Sunday I call on the phone to my family to my country.

Francisco My name is Francisco Javier but my friends call me Chiqui.

I'm from Spanish from Canary Island and I live in Santa Brigida, an small village near to Las Palmas.

I'm a doctor. I'm specialist in Homeopathy and I work in Las Palmas.

I'm middle size and I have grey hair and I usually wear a grey beard. I'm an extrovert person but not talkative. I have a lot of friends and I like meeting them.

I was born in Las Palmas 50 years ago and I the sixth of seven brothers.

I speak Spanish and I'll speak a little English the next summer ( when the course finish) I like reading, watching films and walking on the mountain. I have a group of trekking and we go walking once a month.

I like meeting my friends twice a week I try meeting them. I have a little garden and I like farming. I grow vegetables: carrots lettuces, tomatoes, potatoes. I spend much time in the garden. I like roller skating and some Sundays I go to Canteras with my daugther.

Raúl I´m Raúl, I´m Spanish, I live in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. I´m a Volleyball´s Coach, but tree years ago I started working for an agency of publicity.

I´m not very tall 1.84 cm, I´m not fat, I'm a bald man, my eyes are green.

My appearance, I´m calm, attentive, extrovert, active, I do many things everryday.

I was born in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria on 27th of May. I speak Native Spanish, I speak a little English, and I´m learning to speak French.

I like sports very much, I play Volleyball, I usually go running, sometimes I swim in the beach when the weather is sunny, in my free time I go to the beach, I prefer nudist beach, and in the winter I prefer to go to the country, I like to stay with my friends, going for a walk.

Yiri Danis My name is Yiri Danis Valencia. I'm from Colombia. I was born in Armenia, Quindío on the first of July buy I live in Las Palmas. I’m a systems engineer. At this moment I study in the university because I don't find a job . I' m tall and I have black eyes and brown hair.
