ARTIST LINEUP: The invitees to participate are artists whose aesthetics and conceptual explorations can, to us, be described within the context of ‘neo-baroque’. A neo-baroque order combines the elements of 17th century Baroque (complexity, elaboration, drama, opulence) with contemporary characteristics of pluralism, individualism, and social awareness, both aesthetically and conceptually. Imagining the opposite of our contemporary social and aesthetic complexity invites artists to engage in intricate thought, and view our current through a critical lens. ARTIST LINE-UP:
