Employing the uncompromising materials of bronze and stone, he reduces his figures to their essential, most easily recognizable elements. The resulting works reveal a sense of strength and gravitas. Robinson has accepted commissions from such illustrious institutions as the British Museum, London and is s a member of the prestigious Royal Society of British Sculptors, having been elected to that august association in 1988. 795
