After a few year hiatus, students, the community, the new theatre instructor and fine arts faculty are excited to embark once more into the world of musicals. In spring 2024, BHSU theatre & music department presents: The Little House on the Prairie: The Musical! Feb. 23rd & 24th at 7:30PM and Feb. 25th at 2:00PM

Yet big musicals like this aren’t cheap, & that’s where we need your support. We have a variety of sponsorship levels to best suit your circumstances. We love collaborating with local businesses in our community and we think we can truly create something spectacular and truly rewarding with your support!

Executive Producer - (1 Available) $2500 and up • Full page ad on the back cover of the playbill for the 2024 spring musical.

Be seen! Develop greater visibility for your business, especially among BHSU students, faculty and staff as well as the Spearfish and it’s surrounding communities. Last fall our production sold out its entire run. Attracting 300+ patrons to the arts at BHSU! The numbers are expected to increase drastically for the upcoming musical too.

Preflight and package all InDesign and Illustrator files before sending.

• Tiffs and layered files are also accepted.

• All fonts must be included or converted to outlines.

• All images should be 300 dpi at 100% of the final file size.

• All files should be converted to CMYK.

by Donna Di Novelli Feb. 23rd & 24th at 7:30PM and Feb. 25th at 2:00PM Woodburn Theatre - Woodburn Second Floor Family Friendly Musical This heartwarming musical follows the Ingalls family’s journey westward and settlement in De Smet, South Dakota where Ma and Pa Ingalls hope to make a better life for their children. It tells the story of their struggle to keep their land claim. In story, song, and dance, we see the Ingalls weathering the hardships of winter blizzards and prairie fires as well as rejoicing in the settlement of land and town. Most of all, the story follows Laura as she grows from a wild child who loves to run free into a woman who embraces the responsibilities of her own future while struggling to remain true to herself.
