OVERVIEW

Everest Base Camp Track is one of the best hiking destinations in the world. It's become more popular among the mountain lover, after setting off on the epic journey to Mt. Everest by Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay Sherpa in the 1950s. Everest Base Camp Track is the perfect way to explore Mother Nature, Himalayan scenery in the UNESCO World heritage site Sagarmatha National Park, Highlander's livelihood, and Sherpa’s tradition, which have been carried out for centuries. The incredible mountain scenery four highest mountains in the world including Mt. Everest can see in this trekking. The top of the world “Mt. Everest (8,848m)” view is outstanding from the most popular viewpoint Kala Patthar. Including, Mt. Everest Base Camp (5,360m) itself, Khumbu Glacier, and Khumbu Icefall are other remarkable sites of your lifetime experience Everest Base Camp Track.

Everest Base Camp Track embarks Tenzing Hillary Airport at Luka after a short scenic flight from the capital city Kathmandu and follows the Bank of Dudh Koshi River with charming Sherpa settlements, Buddhist Chorten, Wall painting, and the towering peaks of Thamserku and Kusum Kanguru before getting in Namche Bazaar. The trail ascends steeply to the Namche Bazaar after the cross-Hillary suspension bridge at the confluence of Dhudha Koshi and Bhote Koshi. Namche Bazaar (Weekly market fair Every Saturday, Ancient trading Hub & Gateway of Mt. Everest) itself is an amazing place to pass a day easily visit the Sherpa Museum, Sagarmatha Tourist information Center, monastery and hang around the town, but for good acclimatization propose, visit the Everest view hotel with panoramic view and charming Khumjung Village (Yeti Scalp) and then back to Namche through the Syangboche Airport.

Afterward, heading to Everest Base Camp through the Buddhist sacred site Tengboche (name as Dawa Choling Gomba, the largest monastery of Khumbu), Pangboche (last settlement for the EBC), Dingboche with significant Himalayan vista. During the

Everest Base Camp (5,360m) via Lobuche, Gorakshep, and climb to the most popular viewpoint Kala Patthar (5,555) for the best scenery of Mt. Everest, Nuptse (7,861m), Pumori (7,161m) at stone throwing distance. Khumbu Glacier, Icefall, and Everest Base Camp itself is a key attraction of EBC Track and Kalapathar offers wonderful snow-capped Mountain View surrounded by you. The sunset view from Kalapattar is best for the adventurous, and passionate with a colorful Everest view, but one needs to be well prepared with a warm cloth and walk down in the dark night.

After collecting lifetime experience, we retrace to the Lukla and fly back to Kathmandu from the further destination. Normally, except for the Lukla flight, Everest Track can do a whole year-round, but March, April, and May during the spring and September, October, and November in autumn are the best time of year for the EBC Track.

Day 1: Arrive at TIA (Tribhuvan International Airport) & Transfer to Hotel.

Day 3: Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (2,800m) – 25 to 30 minutes, trek to Phakding (2,640m) -3 to 4 hours Day 4: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,430m) -5 to 6 hours Day 5: Acclimatization in Namche Bazaar visit Khumjung Village (3,790m) & Everest View Hotel (3,880m) -2 to 3 hours.

Day 6: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,867m) -5 to 6 hours Day 7: Tengboche to Dingboche (4,410m) -5 to 6 hours Day 8: Acclimatization day at Dingboche, climb to Nangkartshang Peak (5,615m) – 2 Hours.

Day 9: Dingboche to Lobuche (4,930m) -5 to 6 hours Day 10: Lobuche to Gorakshep (5,140m) - 3 hours & Everest Base Camp (5,360m) -2 to 3 hours













Day 11: Gorakshep to Kalapathar (5,550m) -2 hours & Stroll back to Pheriche (4,240m) -5 to 6 hours Day 12: Pheriche to Tengboche (3,867m) - 4 to 5 hours Day 13: Tengboche to Namche Bazaar (3,430m) - 4 to 5 hours Day 14: Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2,800m) - 6 to 7 hours Day 15: Fly back to Kathmandu 25 to 30 minutes.

NOTE

Due to air traffic at Kathmandu Airport, there is not available direct flight from Kathmandu to Lukla during the trekking high season (September, October, November & March, April, and May). So, you need to fly Ramechhap to Lukla instead of Kathmandu, after a 132km drive for 4 to 5 hours.

 
