STOLEN SOULS

A semester-long project with a few simple prompts Create three icons, create three relating images, and finally, create a website to showcase the results. I decided to take the project a few steps further by creating a brand identity and advertising it. I dream of taking STOLEN SOULS even further, creating more designs, packaging, and maybe designing a commercial website.

This project’s prompt was to start with 350 drawings, then narrow those down to one.

I chose a mushroom, the evolution was drastic resulting in an interesing brand identity.

A brand that tragets the younger generation, with edgy designs, exciting graphics, focusing on the full aesthetic and experience, not just the product.

A made-up True Crime Documentary. This book and posters advertise an episode about the Haleigh Cummings case, which also serve as reminders and public service announcements.

Hi, I’m Nadine Khoury. A Jordanian student at Iowa State University, majoring in Graphic Design and minoring in Digital Media.

My main focus is to leave room for imagination. Everyone has a unique view, a different perspective, and their own personal context. I don’t see things the way you do; in most cases, I never will, and I have always wanted to account for that. People should be able to take what they need from design, see its beauty, and find meaning based on who they are and what they have been through.

I am still new to graphic design but endeavor more than anything to grow, learn, build beauty, and create memorable designs.
