Description: “The Louella”: a 14-story new construction affordable Senior residence in the Mt. Hope neighborhood of the Bronx. Named for esteemed local community leader Louella Hatch, the 64,100 square foot mixed-use building includes a 4,500 square foot home for the First Union Baptist Church.
The new building is designed to house 90 units of affordable housing for seniors (74 studios, 16 one-bedrooms), and a single two-bedroom unit for a live-in Superintendent.
Role: Developing the project from SD to DD. Collaborated closely with clients, particularly with the Church, to ensure their needs were met through thoughtful space design. Crafted the apartments to provide ample circulation space, eliminate barriers, and promote ease of movement, regardless of physical abilities.

Description: HQ Architects has been commissioned to re-envision and extend the existing leisure center facilities in the southern Israeli city of Sderot. The design includes of a tennis facility presented in a circular shaped bridge together with a staircase that surrounds four and a half tennis courts. Under the bridge there are three buildings housing several facilities that include changing rooms, showers, and spaces for administrative use.
Role: Developing a research that will determine the dimensions of the spaces under the bridge by creating a series of sections.

Description: The Community Center, is one of the few centers in Lod that conducts activities for Arab and Jewish populations alike. It serves as the base for different cultures and provides a safe environement for children, youth, adults and the elderly.
Role: Developing a concept for the structure, establishing a research that will determine the dimensions of the rooms and movement in space. Fabricating 3D models of the site and the building in different scales. Drafting architectural documents.
