MASS HOUSING

To develop a housing typology that adheres to the growing needs of the contextand caters to all the variety of user profiles and their requirements depending upon the occupation and create a comfortable environment for them.

The focus of the design is to create housing typologies suitable to the context and experiment with different housing concepts. The design takes the consideration of the local climate and environment to ensure the housing is comfortable and efficient.

The site is located in sector 26 and sector 27, Kharghar, Mumbai. The total site is estimated upto 21.08 acres.

The in-between spaces can be used as a productive, open recreational areas.

The commercial zone is placed adjacent to the roads for better access for the users and thereby seperating the rest of the housing users

The design focuses on building abode for different social groups, be it ews, lig , mig, hig. The main emphasis of the design is on providing better and effiecient living environment to the users, irrespective of the type of people.

The core idea of co-living and inter-dependency is also taken into account, without giving any space for discomfort. The site is designed to cater the needs, understanding the activity pattern of the users.

The site consist of commercial areas, recreational areas, cloud service areas, additional provision areas that makes the design stands out from its context.

The co-working space is setup in an urban context that has no similar functional space in nearby context.

The future relies on working together, past years has thought us that a physical building is not at all a mandatory anymore for a firm. So the introduction of a co-working space in a new locality inspires and motivates the people to update themselves and use the facility to its fullest.

The workspace should have enough space for diverse space using the space; be it enclosed area, closed cabins, open areas.

The interior theme also influences the efficiency of the users using the space.
