Regulatory compliance: adapting to a pressurized environment
Executive summary Even since early last year, the risk to companies from enhanced regulatory enforcement and new legislation continues to increase. Enforcement actions what they expect from companies’ compliance programs. This activity is causing great concern among audit committee chairs. These days, audit chairs are asking, “What are the practical steps the company can take to demonstrate compliance with regulatory regimes? Where is the future of regulation headed?
