What is your review of Sapient India?

When I had nothing, I had PS. Many of you will think this is fluff, but to me PS was life changing, literally! I am not kidding. I will be forever grateful to PS and the team.

Let me start from the beginning. After working for 4 years, I joined Publicis Sapient. I am an ardent professional who takes his job very seriously and sometimes even prioritizes work over everything else. After all, my work provides me everything. So why not?

I had gotten married just 6 months before I joined Publicis Sapient Bangalore. As luck would have it, my father fell ill. It turned out that he had cancer. I was devastated and couldn’t understand what to do – it was like the sky has fallen on me. I wasn’t prepared to handle this. If it weren’t for the team at Publicis Sapient, I would not be here writing this review. You perhaps have read multiple Publicis Sapient Bangalore reviews, but this is more than a review beyond salary, work-life balance, or office politics.

My manager was very supportive and helped me find the right doctors whom I could consult. After nearly a year’s struggle, I unfortunately couldn’t save my father, but the support I got from all the team members is incomparable. My team members took the load off me so I could be with my father and family. They did extra hours of work on weekends for my part to deliver work. In many cases, companies let go off people when they can’t commit to work. However, the team never complained of the time I committed to work. Not only did my manager helped me in seeking the right treatment, but also helped me financially.

I was financially incapable as I had just had a wedding and insurance didn’t cover as much. This was just after I had known people for three months. For whatever reason – hiring tests, experience (I do not care), people at Publicis Sapient, from team members to senior managers, all are very supportive and understanding. Despite all this, I always got my salary on time. What more do you need to work at a company?

My suggestion is: if you’re a family person, it’s the best workplace to be at. Consider this a Publicis Sapient employee feedback or a life story, whatever you will, it is what it is.
