The project recognized that the LGBTQ are equally valuable human resource for the society, the proposal seeked to create an environment that provides them equal opportunities, safe enclave and attain participation with the society.
The Vocational Training Center along with Recycle Product Selling Shopping Mall will bridge the gap between the LGBTQ community and the society. It will act as key of contact between them and main stream, as there is still stigma or myths prevailing in the Indian society.
When we think of the community, the major traits we see is their vibrant life, their fight for freedom and equality. The first thing that brings in my mind is BIRDS. They are considered a symbol of peace and also indication of rising high. A space that depicts the freedom and free flow of movement within the site similar to that of birds.
