A SYMBIOSIS BETWEEN HUMAN AND NATURE

The Bandra Transit Hub focuses on the expression of strong connections between urban and nature, tradition and innovation, and economy and culture. The design of Transit Hub is inspired by biomimicry and intended as a poetic landmark, so to achieve "a symbiosis between humans and nature."

The plants have vertical circulation of nutrients and water, similar to that the spaces of the Transit Hub and Commercial block has been laid.The vertical circulation is created for a series of functional spaces organized around the voids. Thus, creating a free-flowing system without wall but a boundary for visitors to experience the space under the brightly lit skylight atrium in the Transit Hub.
