The Council of Rajasthan had stated in its brief to provide an auditorium of 750 capacity, luxury stay for artisans & open to sky cafeteria. This Auditorium is inspired by the famous Jaisalmer Fort Architecture & its material palette.
Jaisalmer Auditorium has been built with finely sculptured yellow sandstone. It has a complex of royal cenotaphs & ornate chhatris which effectively create natural cooling system. The planning has served both aesthetic & functional purpose to memorialize local rulers & skilled artisans.
