Director’s Message

I pen this note once more in retrospect of another successful year at NIMH. Breaking away from two long years battling the pandemic, we witnessed returning of NIMH to its old normal with a sense of relief.

I’m delighted that the year 2022 was a productive and a progressive year for NIMH.

In recognition ofourexcellence, wewere awardedthesilvermedal forour best practices at theWorld Patient Safety Day competition conducted by the Ministry of health.

We took time to acknowledge the efforts of the NIMH frontline staff who contributed to our mission against COVID 19, dubbed the “Suwawiru Pranama”.

Once more, I thank the dedicated staff of the NIMH for another successful year and who contributed to the annual report 2022, our Deputy Director Dr. Arosha Wijewickrama and the team.
