Niko Bathrooms is part of the UEL Group which has been distributing plumbing and heating products in Ireland since 1983 from our distribution center in Tallaght, Dublin 24, just off the M50.

We supply the plumbing trade via a comprehensive network of Plumbing/ Heating Wholesalers, Builders Merchants, DIY Stores and Bathroom Showrooms throughout Ireland. Members of the public looking to purchase our products can do so via their local builder’s merchant or bathroom showroom. A list of which can be found on our stockist page.

Our diverse range of designs are sourced from leading International manufacturers and are produced to the highest standards.

Our bathroom collection contains an extensive range of durable yet refined ceramics, shower enclosures, and trays, alongside stylish bathroom furniture, taps, shower valves, and accessories. The Niko Bathrooms collection of contemporary and traditional designs offers individuality without compromise on style or quality.

The success of the Group over the past 30+ years is based on high levels of customer service throughout Ireland, backed up with product quality from an extensive range for every plumbing and heating project.

The knowledge of our sales team is second to none and between them, they have amassed over 250 combined years’ experience in the plumbing industry in Ireland. Our external sales people cover the 26 counties on a regular basis, supported by an internal sales and distribution team who ensure that orders are speedily assembled and dispatched. Normal delivery to most areas is a next day service.

The innovative thin walled ceramic technology create beautiful, visually light products, which are still extremely durable. With this technology products are designed, sporting unique features that would not be possible with traditional technologies.

Creating unique looks with ceramics is possible thanks to the use of modified mass, which provides greater durability.

The mass is less susceptible to deformation when heat-treated, and is much more durable.

The new development of a modified type of glazed is ideal for the thin edge of thin-walled washbasins. It ensures a perfect coating every time, giving the ceramic surfaces a smooth and evenly white finish.

The washbasins made using the new material feature thin edge, are extremely durable and resistant to impact, as well as being easy to clean. They are also much lighter than traditional washbasins.

AQUASAFE boards are denser than regular boards, with the fibres being filled with a moisture proofing agent featuring anti-fungal properties. AQUASAFE boards have better absorption and swelling properties than traditional boards.

CERAMICS

The ceramic installation is often the centre point for design within a bathroom space. Our collection offers multiple options in both WC & basin options.

Choosing a WC

Complete your bathroom renovation with a brand new loo, available in designs to suit almost any bathroom space. You’ll find all manner of quality bathroom products from traditional toilets to modern toilets and everything in-between.

Here we discuss some of the toilet options available across our range.

Open Back

An open back toilet is where the back of the pan is not flush against the wall. This allows for easy access to the pipework at the back of the WC.

Low Level

The Low Level is generally a traditional style toilet which has a connecting pipe from the cistern to the pan which adds a visibly pleasing feature. Our low level toilet is operated by a lever flush.

High Level

This is the ultimate in traditional style, with the cistern positioned high up on the wall behind the pan, with an old-fashioned pull chain flush. The cistern is connected to the pan via a long stainless steel pipe

Semi Shrouded

A semi shrouded toilet, is where the waste pipe and water inlet are semi enclosed within the ceramic, giving access to the waste pipe.

A fully shrouded toilet, is where the waste pipe and water inlet are fully within the ceramic, so the toilet sits flush against the wall. This makes it easier to keep clean, with no crevices or germ traps.

Fully Shrouded Comfort Height

Comfort height bowls are 440480 mm high, compared to the standard 400mm of a regular WC. The extra height can be good for the knees and back and can offer benefits to taller people, the elderly and people with mobility problems.

Back to wall Wall Hung

A back to wall toilet is installed directly onto a supportive wall while the cistern can be concealed by a back to wall unit or within the wall itself making them aesthetically pleasing and a space saving option.

Rimless

A rimless toilet is simply a toilet without a traditional rim. Instead of water flowing into the bowl all the way round the rim, a direct flush technique directs water around the edge of a smooth pan. Rimless toilets are easy to clean and more hygienic than a traditional toilet pan.

The toilet bowl is mounted onto the wall using a support frame. Like back to wall toilets, the cistern is concealed within the wall, accessible via the flush panel. This makes them aestethically pleasing and very practical when it comes to cleaning.
