Yone Terada, Seattle Keiro resident and former Seattle Keiro Receptionist I came in on a Monday and was already at work Tuesday morning. That was the best moment of my adult life, or 25 years with Keiro. I loved working here from day one. I could honestly say when I started work here, everyone was very helpful, very friendly. I mean everyone, in every department. It wasn’t just the office people, and I enjoyed being at the front desk, greeting the visitors, saying “hi,” and smiling. I enjoyed the family members that came. I just really enjoyed every part of being a receptionist.

I remember how our community joined together to purchase the original Seattle Keiro Nursing home, built and dedicated the current Seattle Keiro, and developed Nikkei Manor. We are grateful that Toshi’s and my mothers were Seattle Keiro residents, and now we are residents of Nikkei Manor Continued on page 4
