The Career Growth of Siebel CRM Siebel CRM Systems, Inc. was a software company principally engaged in the design, development, marketing, and support of customer relationship management (CRM) applications. The company was founded by Thomas Siebel and Patricia House in 1993. At first known mainly for its sales force automation products, the company expanded into the broader CRM market. By the late 1990s, Siebel Systems was the dominant CRM vendor, peaking at 45% market share in 2002.

History of SIEBEL CRM Siebel has lost many customers due to lack of support and proper upgrade from Oracle. But that is history. Currently Oracle is trying hard to convince customers that they have a clear road map for Siebel. Oracle is implementing more features, other than open UI. In IP2015, there were lot of improvement towards the look & feel, ease of use, adding few other features. Currently with IP2016, the biggest advantage might be Siebel Composer and Workspace.

Career Growth of SIEBEL CRM But coming to the point of career in Siebel CRM. Although the CRM market is increasing, Siebel is getting less new customers. Small and mid-level companies would expect their solution to be cloud based and they will approach other CRM competitors. But when it comes in house support, companies mainly look towards Siebel. With the current road map, that Oracle is promising, Siebel deployment, upgrade and maintenance might become very simple and cost effective.
