Despite the cold stormy Winter season, your Board of Directors is anticipating a busy Spring. Our maintenance department has been preparing beaches and lake areas properly for our Spring and Summer seasons. Our recreation department has been busy putting together a wide array of weekday and weekend events as well. LLV has become a very busy community lately, and we thank our security team for keeping us safe and secure. We urge all of you to address any questions to our office staff at (570) 646-3616. They are available business hours, and they remain knowledgeable regarding LLV policies as well as our calendar of events.
Your Board of Directors was very displeasured that most small ski hills failed safety inspections in 2021. We were unable to operate our lift equipment during our winter season. We created a ski hill maintenance committee, hoping we will be totally compliant for our next winter season.
With Covid restrictions lessening this season, the LLV Board re-entertained our Chalet parking lot project. We are hoping that there are vendors qualified and prepared to bid on our specifications. We are very concerned about the cost of materials lately, but we will evaluate all proposals regardless.
